The Carl Dickman Par 3 in Fairfield is a walk-friendly 9-hole par-3 course that’s built for quick rounds and skill development. It’s intentionally short overall (par 27), but it’s not “tiny”—you’ll hit real shots, and the longer holes still ask you to flight the ball and control distance. One of the standout features is the coastal proximity; you can feel the influence of Long Island Sound in the breezes, which makes even short holes play differently day to day. The course is especially popular for juniors, beginners, families, and anyone who wants to keep a sharp short game without committing to a full-length course. In short: it’s an approachable, fun, high-utility par-3 loop that still has enough golf in it to keep better players engaged.

Great golf course to do with your friends. It’s well maintained and really close to home, I had a great time!

Great little par 3 course for practice or new comers to the game. No holes over 140 yards besides #8. No driver needed

Very well kept par 3 with one or two holes that stretch out a little. Aside from the geese, very fun to play for a cheap price.

Fun Par 3 course. Well maintained with enough variety to work on your short game and introduce your friends or family to golf. Can be slow but that’s just fine for the beginners. Nice breeze from the water, with coastal birds flying around that adds to the character of the place.
