Ellington Ridge is a private 18-hole club in Ellington that combines a strong local membership culture with a course that asks for thoughtful shot placement. The layout is traditional parkland-style golf, with holes that reward hitting the correct side of the fairway to open up better angles into greens. It’s not just a “bash it anywhere” course—trees, hazards, and green protection encourage patience and smart targets. The club experience is oriented around regular member play, leagues, and a social calendar that fits family and community use. Overall, Ellington Ridge is a classic Connecticut private club: understated, well-rounded, and built for golfers who want a dependable home course.

Went for a Golf Outing. Great golf course, food, and the service on and off the course was exceptional. Great place to view the sunset.

Beautiful course kept in pristine condition by the superintendent. Nice, challenging layout with elevated greens. Greens were in great shape and rolling nicely. Clubhouse is large and spacey. Food was excellent and waitstaff was attentive and helpful. Entire club staff is friendly and welcoming.
