Tumble Brook in Bloomfield is a private club with a strong golf tradition and a course built for thoughtful, repeatable member play. The layout is classic parkland style, often rewarding controlled driving and clean iron play into well-defended greens. It’s a club where leagues, events, and regular games shape the season, giving it a lively membership rhythm. The course tends to challenge players who get overly aggressive, especially if approach angles are poor or greens are approached from the wrong side. Overall, it’s traditional private golf in the Hartford area: established, golf-forward, and strategically engaging.

We happily chose Tumble Brook Country Club for our wedding venue in August 2025. From day one, the team made us feel at ease and truly made us feel like family. Their staff went above and beyond throughout the whole process, from planning up to the celebration on our big day. The staff is extremely talented and works like a well oiled machine. The waitstaff and bartenders kept everything on schedule and helped keep our stomachs full and happy. Special shout outs to Chris, Jeff, Chef Kent, Ryan, and Taylor.

I have some buddies who belong here and they're always very pleased with everything going on. I've had the opportunity to attend some events in the food is always delicious and they really know how to pour their beverages properly. The other night i took my wife to a whiskey tasting event that had been put on it different venues in previous years and I have to say tumblebrook knocked it out of the park. They fixed all the issues that the previous events had and their staff was amazing taking care of everyone making sure there was enough food. Solid work if you're into country clubs and golfing this place could be for you
