This was the most expensive course I’ve ever played at 235$ a person and it was extremely uneventful, lacking service and not in “perfect condition.” The front desk guy didn’t even give me a total when he rang me up and took my card. But I knew it was going to be pricey. We had to carry our clubs to the cart. The carts are extremely slow and loud. We got rained on a few times and never offered a towel or anything. The cart would warn us for not repairing our divots but it also had no sand in it to repair them in the first place. No sand next to tee markers. Slow, overbooked play.. We left after 16 holes due to rain and no one in the front offered to help us unload/clean and move our stuff into the car. I wouldn’t recommend going here. You’re better off playing twice at evergreen or going to haymaker. Waste of money. I’ve seen courses with better service and conditions that cost half of what they are asking for.

Views: 9.5 Fun: 9.5 Conditions: 10 Value: 7.5 Met Expectations: 10 Overall: 93/100 Price Range: $$$ A fantastic course right in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. We went for an afternoon 18, which let us play a full round at a bit of a discounted price. The conditions were really good, and on the day we went on, we only got spit on a few times, despite it looking like it could have gotten worse. The views of this place are pretty awesome and memorable. You've got little streams and rock outcroppings, some insane houses, and of course the wonderful mountains. I suck way bad with my supremely impressive handicap of 46.4, but I still had a very enjoyable time, even though I wouldn't call this an easy course by any stretch of the imagination. Overall, I'd say if you're in the region even remotely and you have a bag with you, this is a must do at least once. It's a bit pricey, but try to find a cheaper time if that bugs you.

This was one of the more beautiful courses I've golfed. It's right along the mountains and the back nine crosses the Yampa River a few times. The greens were hard to read but probably is easier after a few rounds. If I'm back in Steamboat Springs, I'll definitely go back!

I tell you what the staff at Rollingstone Ranch are superb! I booked a tee time through GolfNow went through the entire payment, then the app told me the time wasn’t available anymore. I went to the pro shop and explained what happened. They said they weren’t sure what happened with the app as they still had the time available, and would match the deal I would have gotten through the app! Phenomenal staff thank you everyone! Had a great time at the course and experienced some things you don’t get everywhere.
