I really enjoyed this course, it has the bones and layout of a phenomenal track. The front is just okay, the back 9 is quite memorable. I want to give more stars but they simply just need to water the course. It’s burnt out and lacking grass in some places. But $50 with a cart isn’t bad for what you get

I have played Rifle Creek since the original 9 holes opened in the early 60's. General conditions a little rough this year due to severe drought, but greens are exceptional, views out of this world. A must play if in the area.

Wonderful experience!! Everyone from the pro shop to the grill were friendly, welcoming and professional. The course was great. Especially Beautiful back nine. My girlfriend and I rented clubs ( brand new taylor made) which we loved. Hope to return and play many more rounds in the future. Can't give a high enough recommendation!!

Awesome course. The greens were very well maintained and rolling quick. Two very different nines, front is more walkable/traditional, back gets into the canyon and is very dramatic and scenic. I heard the county bought the course and is planning a major irrigation update which is great to hear. Would 100% recommend this course!

I've played every public golf course in the area and I give Rifel five stars. The course is not pristine, there's some dry spots and some of the sand traps are like dirt pits but that was okay with me. The staff are so friendly, including the ranger who told us to have a great time every time he saw us and didn't hassle us. The back nine through the canyons, the view is spectacular. The greens are in great shape and roll true. The best part is the value. $77 for eighteen holes with a cart is the best value in the valley.
