Beautiful course that is excellently maintained. Super friendly and kind staff, helpful to beginners and insightful for experts. I can't recommend Desert Hawk enough!

On Saturday April 4th 2026, tee time 2:00 PM. They pushed out tee time back to 2:20 and tried to add someone to our group who was walking. As soon as we got to the tee box he was very rude to us. All four in our group payed for 18 holes and wasn't able to finish the other 9 holes. So I tried to ask for a rain check. They told me no, "we can't do that only for bad weather". So I went inside and ask the front desk for a refund since our group only played 9 holes. The person that serviced us was Mike archuleta. He denied giving us a refund. All the staff are very rude We been golfing on and off for years and still get treated very poorly! They are very rude to us and gives us terrible customer service! The bad experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never be golfing at this very poorly ran course again.

Hopefully you show up with your entire party. Or you will be charged for others that don’t show. Plus no option for a single rider golfer. Have to book for at least two people on any tee time slot. Can’t call pro shop when closed for early next day tee times.

Out of the many negative experiences I have had at this establishment, today stuck out the most. Every time I come here the staff in the pro shop have a snarky arrogant attitude. Today we had a 2pm tee time and not only did they push our tee time back to 220pm but they tried to pair us with stranger that was walking. Mike Archuleta was in the pro shop and seemed to be inconvenienced that we were in the pro shop and sold us a 18 hole with a cart combo for 50 bucks. Did not warn us they didn’t do refunds or rain checks. After nine holes we didn’t have enough time to finish so we asked for one or the other and they refused to make it right. I will not be back in to hit balls or play. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth along with the three other people playing with me. They are definitely not the only course in town.

My favorite course in town. Always in great shape, proshop is easy to work with and a great driving range. All the holes are spread out so no worries about hitting balls into other fairways! Slice away friends!
