Today 26 May.7:05am I had a very unpleasant experience while delivering an Amazon package to this address. As usual, I arrived at the gate, waited in line like all the other cars ahead of me, and when it was finally my turn, the man who identified himself as “Jhon” — I’m not sure if that is his real name — instead of assisting me, directed me out of the line and sent me to the right side. He showed no interest in helping me and continued allowing other vehicles through after checking their IDs. The situation felt discriminatory and very disrespectful toward me. I then got out of my car to ask for his name and why he was treating me that way, since I also deserved to be attended to fairly. Instead of responding professionally, he threatened to call the police. His behavior was extremely rude and upsetting. A few moments later, another employee who spoke Spanish came over and asked why I was in that line. I explained that the other man had moved me out of it. He then asked for my ID and the delivery address. At first, I accidentally gave him the wrong address, but after correcting it and providing the exact address, he allowed me to enter — after making me wait more than 15 minutes. Afterward, I asked again for the name of the man who treated me so poorly. I was told his name was “Jhon.” His attitude was arrogant and unprofessional. What makes this even more disappointing is that there was another employee standing right beside him who spoke both Spanish and English. I personally would not want to work alongside someone who treats people with such disrespect and appears to prioritize only English-speaking Americans while treating Latino people differently. I am sharing the image of this individual because, in my opinion, someone with this kind of behavior should not be in a position that requires professionalism and respect toward others.
