Great daily fee golf course in Monument! The course is difficult links style play for the most part with thick natural areas bordering most holes. The course is in very good shape this year with the exception of the ninth green with sparse grass and the traps which need work. Worth a round if you are in the area.

Course was in good shape. I always lose more balls than average but the play is good. Early morning tee times get you on and off quickly. A little overpriced but overall a good value.

Extremely fun course to play and one of the best layouts I have seen in some time. Beautiful open links style course with tons of ups and downs and great views. The staff is amazing, truly take care of their customers and treated me like I was a member of the club. THEY HAVE THE BEST MERCH SELECTION I HAVE SEEN IN A PRO SHOP! Highly recommend the course and can't way to play again!

First time playing this beautiful course and it certainly won't be the last time. The staff was friendly, the course was in great shape and it will test the skill of any golfer. Keep it in the short stuff because it can be pretty difficult to find your ball in the tall and thick grasses that line the fairways. Pace of play was a little slow but it was a Saturday morning and that can be expected most places but the weather was gorgeous and there was a nice breeze with it being a links style course with very few trees to block the wind.

I had a really disappointing experience at Kings Deer Golf Club, and unfortunately it seems consistent with the course’s overall reputation. We had a simple setup with one golfer and one rider. The guy working in the pro shop flat-out refused to allow a rider, offered zero alternatives, and didn’t even attempt to be helpful. There were no suggestions to adjust our tee time and no effort to problem-solve, just a hard “no” with a dismissive attitude. What really stood out was how unprofessional it felt. There was no apology and no real explanation beyond the refusal, and no basic level of customer service. Policies are one thing, but how you communicate them matters, and this was handled poorly. Between the lack of flexibility and the attitude, it left a really bad impression. Definitely not a place I’d go out of my way to return to.
