If you're looking to spend close to $600/month for a run-down gym, inept childcare staff, management who doesn't care or listen to your concerns (Chris being the main complaint here) & hours that are garbage (closed for dinner on Sundays, outdoor pool doesn't open until 10, etc.) then this is the place for you! Extremely poor management for decades (it's no wonder this place looks and feels like it was pulled out of the 80s) because Chris has done an abysmal job running this place. Our family has been members for over 20 years and we are leaving due to a multitude of reasons. He is rude and condescending and could care less about the concern of members that have been members for decades and wanted to see Woodmoor improve. We paid $125 to a golf tournament with no prizes and no clear understanding of what the money was going towards. When we inquired about this, we received no answer. We have had charges on our account multiple times (as stated by other members in these reviews) for things we never used or purchased. The renovations are constantly disappointing... they renovated the bathrooms & they put down mats on the floor of the gym but there remains to be decades old yoga mats that are torn apart and broken TVs & equipment that is on it's last leg. The kids club is ran well by Regina, but the girls they hire in the summer are not CPR certified, don't know how to change diapers & pop the TV on the moment you leave so they can scroll on their phones. FYI your children will be using the MEN'S RESTROOM if they need to use the bathroom while at kids club. What is our money going towards? We will be taking it elsewhere and I highly recommend you do the same.

Glad we started reading the reviews! As a retired couple living in Woodmoor, we were very much interested in a golf membership. We personally visited this establishment, spoke to an employee about our interest, and asked for an informational tour. We were told the person that conducts these was not available. We left our name and phone number. Crickets….No response. We then called the manager and left two messages in reference to our interest. Nothing….dead silence. For an establishment that has its fair share of negative feedback, one would think they’d have the decency and professionalism to at least call an interested new customer. Apparently the reviews are spot on. They truly don’t give a hoot! No thank you Woodmoor CC! We’ll go elsewhere.

We have belonged to woodmoor for 3 years now and we absolutely love it. We feel so welcomed and appreciated by all the staff. I 10/10 recommend this club. Such a great place for families to play and make new friends.

We joined in 2020 and love it. We just upgraded our membership. I like the feeling of a smaller club where my kids see their friends from school. I also like that the same core staff are there every summer. My kids love the bbq events.

We joined this club back in 2020 and love it. They're constantly making improvements, and it keeps getting better and better without ever crossing into "pretentious country club" territory. The golf course looks amazing and will give your short game a run for its money while offering amazing views that take your mind off that ball you hit "just off the fairway" but can't find. Both pools are excellent, and the water slide (at the outdoor pool) and diving board (at the indoor pool) are both favorites with the kids. It's true the food/menu has changed the past couple of years under the new chef, but Scott (the food and beverage manager) listens well to feedback when there's an issue and demonstrates repeatedly that he cares about keeping members happy. (Also, the new chef's signature dishes are frankly excellent. Though I'd love to see a "classic dish" or two like the Reuben make a return someday.) The employees and members here are pleasant, down-to-earth people which speaks to the approachable character of the Woodmoor area in general. UPDATE (JUNE 2025): The new chef who started earlier this year is downright amazing. The classic dishes are making a comeback, and the restaurant now sells out of certain dishes and is regularly packed with families and kids. It goes back to what I said above... this club just keeps getting better and better.
