Nice course. Well maintained by friendly, courteous, and conscientious employees. The people working in the pro shop had their routine down and knew consistently what the course's story is. I've never seen so many walkers. They were the majority of golfers. The deer were plentiful and wandered the course with no fear. Teamed up after 9 holes with a couple of older residents who were willing to describe and inform about the area. I was impressed with the course and signed up for a 5 time 18 hole punch card for $210. Recommend you give Hillcrest Golf Club a visit.

Hilcrest Golf Club is so well managed. The course is beautiful and is always in great shape. Their support of adaptive golfers is amazing. It is refreshing to see so many kids enjoying golf here, and that has clearly transferred to this being the home course for the very successful Durango Demon HS golf teams. This place is a gem.

Visiting from Louisiana and played this morning. Called a few days ahead and the employee on the phone clearly and accurately got us setup with rentals and booked the tee. When we showed up the 2 guys in the clubhouse were super friendly and everything went off without a hitch - the entire staff we encountered was just as personable. Idk how to describe the course. It was immaculate and the views were next level. I would have easily paid double and felt it was justified. This place is a MUST.

Nice course. We had a great time!

I recently played a 9 hole scramble (First timer here) and I will forever remember this trip to Durango. I had a blast playing and learning a new game. I am hooked! I can't wait to come back and play here again. The nature all around including the deer, ground squirrels and birds. What a cool course to be think back, later in life, as the first place I played Golf.
