The course is challenging enough without not being to drive on the fairways on par 4s!! The cart path is a walk back and forth. The par 3s I get but the par 4s is a bit much. The other issue is the cart "exit" from the fairways is at the 150 marker. Ugh!! You're carrying three to four clubs all the time. If you like long walks then this your course. It's a challenging course. The greens are tough to read, that's great but the other stuff!!!

For the price, the course is not bad at all. Yes it’s a little rough in spots while they finalize some irrigation work. Overall the greens were in really good shape. But for $60 with a cart, you can’t complain. Some really fun holes

Fantastic experience with a high elevation farm aesthetic. The rolls are true and the setting special. I also love. The rest breaks had grain houses with semester and green and red storage containers that were the rest rooms. Drinks in the giant grain house finalized the deal. Full of Fred Funk!-)

Second time playing Buffalo Run and unfortunately it was worse than the first. We gave it another shot thinking that after aeration and all the recent rain the course conditions would have improved, but that wasn’t the case. The fairways have large bald patches down to bare dirt right in the middle of landing areas. The first cut is overgrown with thick crabgrass that’s 4–6 inches deep in spots, making it difficult to even find your ball, let alone hit out of it. The greens were in slightly better shape than our first visit, but still not great, and only a few tee boxes actually felt level. The one positive is the price. Around $60 for 18 holes with a cart is affordable compared to most courses in the area, but the overall experience reflects that. The clubhouse is fully under construction, the pro shop and bathrooms are operating out of trailers, and there’s no actual grill or restaurant — just hot dogs being cooked outside and a beverage cart. To top it off, our round took over 5.5 hours, and the marshal mainly offered excuses instead of helping pace of play. Then on the back nine our cart started dying. Any kind of incline or uneven ground would cause it to shut off completely, and our friends had to help push us a couple of times. At that point we just wanted the round to be over and didn’t even bother trying to swap carts. The course layout itself has potential, but the conditions and overall management need a lot of work before the place can actually shine.

Great experience as an out of towner. Quality clubs to rent. Got paired with a fun trio of locals. The front 9 had a lot to offer and will make me want to come back. Very kind and hospitable staff. Ryan at the clubhouse was awesome.
