I’ll preface this by saying the state of Colorado is on Fire and watering restrictions are currently in place. However, the audacity to be charging $120+ for a round of golf while the course is in these type of conditions is wild. Fairways are brutal and look burned, bunkers have no maintenance with weeds and ponds of water in most, and the people who I assume play here frequently, take no pride in repairing divots on greens, fairways or tee boxes. The poorest maintained course I’ve played. Excess grass clippings littered all over the cart paths and course. Most expensive and poorest quality course in Colorado Springs. Maybe with the robbery being committed at every tee time, they can start taking care of this course with the excess cash. Probably not happening though.

Course is looking and playing so much better than previous years. Believe they worked through their water issues. Bunkers are a little rough, but that just means I got 2 free reliefs today. The new Marshall came around twice during our round. “My name is Bob, I’m here to make your round enjoyable, let me know if you need anything”. He didn’t have free beer and he wouldn’t putt my ball in for me. But he genuinely wanted us to have a nice round. The cart girls were out and we crossed paths twice on the front / twice on the back. Didn’t have to wait on one shot today. Amazing for a weekend in Colorado Springs. Will be back!!!!

Front 9 is in the worst condition I’ve played in Colorado. They charge $130 for horribly a manicured course. I understand cart path only to let the grass grow but you’d think they’d bring the price down to something reasonable. Driving range is facing completely away from where you’re supposed to hit. Will never come back and will tell people to stay away. Nice people that work there though.

I'm going to give an honest review of this public golf course. So the greens are in decent shape that's about all that's in decent shape, although the tee boxes are okay. The grass height in this place is just willy-nilly with how they cut the grass.The grass in the Fairway I'd say is at least an inch longer than it should be, the second cut is at least three inches longer than it should be, which makes it easy to lose your balls from just right off the fairway, which for a course that charges in excess of $80 per round kind of crazy. There's basically mounds of grass from cutting everywhere on this course..all over the fairway, on the fringe of the green, everywhere making it close to impossible to play your ball where it lies. The sand traps are more like small rock traps...I would stay away from this place unless you get a great deal or just can't play anywhere else. I won't be returning.

Love the course, never had a problem. Start early and there is minimal delays. Also - loved the cart girl from Louisiana. She was awesome.
