Living in castle rock for 25 years I have never seen the price to play this mediocre course so high. Spend the extra 17$ and go play the ridge. $160+ to play a $80 course.

Played twice in the last couple weeks. Course has been in very good shape and impressed with many of the recent changes. Tee times are spaced out appropriately and greens are coming along great this year. We also really enjoyed our after round experience hanging out on the patio. The waitress who served our table was very nice and really attentive in her service. I didn't get her name (short brunette), but she made it pleasant to have drinks with very well-prepared chicken wings!

Deeply Disrespectful to Veterans on Memorial Day I’ve played Plum Creek before and have even been given a veterans discount here in the past, so I didn’t think it was at all unreasonable at all to ask if they were offering a discount on Memorial Day—a day meant to honor those who served and the friends we’ve lost. When I politely asked about the veterans discount, I was told, “Sorry, not on holidays.” That alone felt pretty tone‑deaf given the date, but what really crossed the line was what an employee at the counter said next: “I didn’t join the military for the discounts.” That comment was condescending and completely unnecessary. Memorial Day is not about getting a few dollars off; it’s about remembering brothers and sisters who aren’t here anymore. I came in in a good mood, grateful to be on the course, alive, and thinking about the friends who are no longer with us. Instead, I was made to feel like I was some kind of jerk for even asking, and like my service—and the people I’ve lost—didn’t matter at all. That one interaction completely changed my day. It took me from feeling reflective and appreciative to feeling angry, disrespected, and unwelcome. For a business that has previously offered a veterans discount, to hide behind “not on holidays” on Memorial Day of all days, and then double down with a snide remark, is truly disappointing. On top of that, they charged 155 for the round and then restrict the driving range to 225 yards, which makes the overall value feel even worse. For the price they’re charging, you’d at least expect basic respect and some awareness of what Memorial Day means to many of their customers. If you care about how veterans are treated—or just basic customer respect—think twice before spending your money here. There are plenty of other Colorado courses where you can enjoy a round without being made to feel small for your service.

The course was in really good shape. The staff was very friendly. The pace of play was really good. And the pricing was decent for a weekend considering the shape of course was in. My only gripe are the GPS carts which can be a pain in the butt but the overall experience was great. The last 3 holes are a killer for sure.

Last time I was here the course was under renovations. This time no renovation and it was in fantastic shape. The fairways were rolling smooth and the greens were quick. The check in was smooth. There was plenty of space on the range and the starter was fantastic. My only problem was the foursome of chuckleheads behind us who hit into us on several occasions. But it was nice to see the Ranger clearly visible and he did what needed to be done. What the group behind us didn’t see was the two groups aged of us were right in front of us and we had nowhere to go. We were also paired with a newbie and everyone needs to learn sometime. Although new he had many nice shots. This was round one of two for the day and it was a great way to start the day. I would definitely play here again and this is a must visit if in the C-Springs / Southern Denver area.
