Good course! Worth the less than $50 weekend walking rate. Very tight, lots of trees. Very easy to walk. 5/10 landscaping though, tee boxes and fairways were a bit rough, lots of weeds and geese damage on fairways. New superintendent would do well!

Most beautiful course i've ever played. The views on the course are absolutely stunning. The leaves make it hard to find your ball sometimes, but thats expected this time of year. "forgiving" layout at most holes, but not too easy. Recommend 10/10, Greetings from the Netherlands

EVER since landing in Boulder with my 3-gen family for a reprieve from the Texas summertime heat & humidity, I have frequented the Flatirons GC for personal space, shortgame sharpening, and time helping my young granddaughter learn the game and work on fundamentals. My opinion is that FLATIRONS GC is a WELL-RUN, PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION. The staff are all welcoming and respectful, the superintendent and grounds-team keep the beautiful teeboxes, fairways, and greens in great shape. The system for making tee reservations by phone, online, or in person is reasonable and fair when it comes to accessibility and policies, probably ahead of 90% of muni systems in the US. I have found this venue, even being without any course competion in the local-to-Boulder area, to be top-notch and worth a 5-STAR assessment. HATS OFF TO DAVID, the Director of Golf, and others in leadership roles for their dedication; assuredly this level of excellence is difficult to attain in any people-pleasing business. My only suggestion for improvement would be that the adjacent restaurant step up its game to offer at least some gluten-free options for dining and snacks. The eatery is well positioned between the nines to serve golfers at the halfway point, for a beverage or fortifying takeaway snack.

Been playing here for multiple years, this year it’s taken a step back. First of all, 56 to walk on a weekday + no twilight rates is just preposterous for the level of course it is. Greens have always been above average, but everything else has always not been (this isn’t even mentioning the driving range). That’s just fine, but charging the same price as Indian Peaks which is 10 minutes away and blows Flatirons out of the water just doesn’t line up. Additionally, new marshall/pro/fella with the glasses is far too aggressive, came up to me playing as a solo as I was setting up to tee off to yell at me that I didn’t check in. I cut it close arriving and normally would, but for a prepaid teetime, why on earth do I need to check in? Wouldn’t you be thrilled if somebody no showed for a prepaid teetime? If you want everybody to check in and get proper headcounts, maybe have a starter on the first tee? Saw him chewing out other people for similar small stuff as well, you’re in a customer service position and acting like it might help. Slightly off topic from the course, but the dichotomy of players at Flatirons is shocking. Half of the players are college kids, whom are treated far too poorly (I get it, a lot of them are annoying, slow and have bad etiquette but not all of them) and the other half are the grumpiest, most entitled older gentleman on the planet. Three separate times my group has been paired with (or joined by after they walked into our group from another one?) older gentleman with literally no respect. Heading up to their teebox and hitting before us while we’re trying to tee off behind them, putting out of turn and walking through lines, etc. Not the courses fault by any means, but definitely a trend.

Great condition course for what seems really reasonable prices. Visiting Boulder for work so I had to rent clubs and wasn't disappointed by the premium option. Staff were friendly and also willing to give go that little extra to ensure I was all set. The course itself plays nicely, it's not the most varied course in terms of challenges but there's a nice mix thrown in and some well placed water
