A redwood canopy nine in Willits, Brooktrails is a Robert Muir Graves design that plays about 1,279 yards‚ but don't let the yardage fool you. Tight corridors and elevation changes demand trajectory control, and the greens are small enough to expose any loose wedge. The property also hosts well organized disc golf events, giving the place a friendly, multi sport buzz on weekends. Expect a walking only vibe, a cozy clubhouse, and a community of regulars who know every bounce. It's NorCal forest golf at its most intimate.

FOR DISC GOLF. Easily my favorite course. There's something unreal about playing in the middle of giants and that fresh air. Course design follows the golf course and is tough but not to tough. Signage could use some work other than this course is perfect.

We had a great dinner at Brooktrails Golf Course! They offer a several choices of sandwiches, great fries, and a wide variety of beer and soft drinks. There's something magical about sitting under the Redwoods for a meal!

For golfers, this spot is a nice hike but a not so great golfing experience. The greens, if the grass is grown, is the equivalent of another courses rough. The “fairways” are just clover grass or straight up dirt. Disc golf runs through the golf course and disc golfers will not pay attention to you teeing off. If you want a nice view, this is a nice hike, if you want good golf? Probably best to keep driving to Ukiah. Regular golf is not the priority here.

One of the best disc golf courses in the country! Beautiful redwoods, scenic throws over creeks, and a well-maintained course that’s a pleasure to play. The food is great as well. Highly recommend checking it out.
