Even though I don’t golf, this has become one of my favorite places for an evening walk in the summer, after about 7pm, when the last groups finish their rounds, the course grows quiet and open. One evening, I spent about 40 minutes walking here after a rain. The sky had just cleared, the air felt fresh, and the ground still held a hint of moisture. Colors looked deeper. Highly recommended for a relaxing evening stroll and a mental reset.

I really love the course and it's usually in pretty good shape. Unfortunately, the pace of play is so SLOW that it takes away from the experience. Management needs to do a better job keeping the groups moving. A little more time between T times would also help

This place is great for food and the staff is fairly nice. Golf on the other hand…not so much. 9 holes takes about 3-4 hours to finish. The greens are insanely slow. The tee boxes are decent. The thing that sucks is this place is local, and I don’t think I’ll find myself golfing here again. It appears the owner refuses to accept feedback in these reviews and try to fix these problems but rather place the blame back on the reviewer. Wouldn’t be surprised if I received the same feedback. With this place being close to home, I hope they fix these problems.

Tee times are too bunched up for the amount of seniors playing causing slow play. 9 holes took over 2 hours due to multiple foursomes of seniors playing slowly. Otherwise the track is nice and challenging. The fairways are in great shape. The greens are in quite good condition with some of them having some issues like patches of bald spots. As of 4/9, hole #3 has a temporary tee box which is about 50 yards from the green. Otherwise I enjoy this little 9 hole course.

An easy 4-star (out of 5), Diablo Hills is just an amazing course to play in !!! First of all, all the holes' condition are on point, even though not too much challenging design, but the layout and the landscape serve the same purpose. Like Hole 8 particularly, there's stones laying on the left side of the fairway, kind of the gardening type of thing, which shall enrich the playfulness of this hole.
