This should be one of the rebound golf courses/centers in the valley. I know it's been around several years, but the upgrades to the driving range and club house are pretty spectacular. We arrived around 2 pm on an afternoon, and after playing 9 holes, the range was completely full and they were just setting up the outdoor taps for people to have an adult beverage while working on their game or having fun with the Top Tracer setup. Course was in very good shape, maybe even a little better than some of the local courses in the area. The three 9s let you build a challenging round if you can. Loved the challenging greens and well places impediments. Definitely a course to come and check out.

Nice driving range, the green was kind of tore up and the tee holder came out of place while driving. Overall a good experience, balls were decently priced and there was seating at each bay and shade.

Valley Oaks absolutely exceeded expectations from start to finish. The driving range is fantastic, the course conditions were impressive—especially considering it followed several days of rain—and the layout is both beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Every hole brings its own set of fun challenges that keep the round exciting without ever feeling overwhelming. We teed off early and the pace of play was perfect. No waiting on groups ahead, no one rushing from behind—just pure, relaxed golf the way it’s meant to be enjoyed. For my first time playing here, I was genuinely blown away, and it definitely won’t be my last. The green fees are more than reasonable for the quality you get, and I can’t wait to come back once the course fully dries out to experience it at its absolute best. Valley Oaks is a gem, and I’m already looking forward to my next round here.

The absolute worst experience at Valley Oak Golf Course in Visalia. I don't usually write reviews, but this place has earned it. The course management is terrible, and the so-called "driving range" is even worse. They regularly have people lined up waiting for bays, yet somehow there is still no basic sign-up system. You literally walk right past the bar and counter to get in -- it would be so easy to manage -- but instead it's chaos. We've personally witnessed arguments and even physical fights because people wait forever, only to have someone jump the line. High schoolers camp out in bays all evening by rotating friends in and out, and staff does nothing about it. Zero structure. Zero accountability. The hitting mats in the bays are also poorly maintained and honestly gross. For a place that charges what it does and new, basic upkeep should not be this hard. Out on the course, expect long delays. It's very common to sit behind 2-4 groups before you can even tee off. A normal 4-hour round easily turns into double that. It kills the entire experience. Safety is another concern. There is no clear safety line at the range, and we have seen people get hit with clubs. That should never happen at a properly managed facility. Overall, this is mismanagement at its finest. The place feels neglected, disorganized, and unconcerned about customer experience or safety.

Good local Visalia course, 27 holes! If you aren’t playing, it’s a great spot to practice your shots with the range, 2 putting areas, and 2 chipping areas. We enjoy playing “the lakes”and “the oaks”. They also have a restaurant with great food and drinks. Book ahead of time
