I had a fantastic experience at Northstar Resort Golf Course. The course is in outstanding condition, with beautifully maintained fairways and greens that made for an enjoyable round from start to finish. The weather could not have been more perfect, which made the overall experience even better. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. It’s clear the team takes great pride in both the course and the guest experience. I highly recommend Northstar Resort Golf Course to anyone looking for a top-tier golf experience in a beautiful setting.

Played on June 10th. Overall course is in good shape for early season. Greens are a little slower than normal, but I expect that to change with the expected warm weather. Rough is VERY long and thick, almost penal if you miss the fairway. There were a couple balls hit into the rough that we never found. Overall though great experience and great to see the course in good shape!

Since the first time I played this course, had to be in early 80's, it's hands down one of my favorite courses, I was a real 'duffer' back then, my golf game was high 90's, but I loved the challenge this course presents, especially the back 9 (Mountain side). It's always in excellent condition, it's scenic, a challenging but fair layout. I live @ South Lake Tahoe,but it's so worth the drive to go over there. I'm a Player's Club member @ Lake Tahoe G.C. @ So. Tahoe, I got down to low 80', even shot a 79 ONCE, now I'm 77, shoot mid 80's from the Senior tees, but I still have to play Northstar.

Solid greens and open fairways. Greens keepers let us out with 1 bag for 2 people which was clutch. Nice restaurant people and good vibes all around. Cheapest balls were 8$ per 3 which was minor bs but aye great air quality and mediocre views made it worth while. All the love Northstar.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The cart personnel, grill staff, starter and shop staff were all great. However, my low rating comes from course conditions. I am new to the area and this is my first time playing Northstar. After reading other reviews and having played other courses in the area that are in great shape I just booked a tee time online. I did not think to call and ask about course conditions. Needless to say I was VERY disappointed as I made my way around Northstar. At least 2 temporary greens and most of the regular greens were very bumpy as they have not recovered from aeration. Many fairways and tee boxes were also bare. I was told by staff that all the damage to the course is from the hard winter. That is understandable, I just wish that information was stated on the website.
