We had a great time on the course! Excellent & friendly service at the snack bar. Plenty of cold drinks and very good Hot Dogs. Several trees down on the course but no safety issues. Beautiful day and good family time.

Great golf course near Interstate 5 when you want to play a few holes while traveling. A little rough around the edges but good considering the lack of water many years in the Bakersfield area.

Don’t waste your money on the Buena Vista golf course, especially female players. First, the course is very unkept. Second, the staff member managing the tee times was rude. He singled out my friend and me (both females), drove his cart onto the course to mansplain us, told us to speed it up, pick up our ball if we needed to and don’t keep score in order to keep up with the male players ahead of us; this was after he initially put us all together with the two males because he had too many customers starting their tee times at the same time and then decided to just have the men go ahead of us. Little did he know that we had been waiting on the men. Ladies, if you are looking for professional customer service without misogynistic attitude, then don’t go to the Buena Vista golf course. And to all others, if you’re looking for a quality golf course on which to play and that’s well kept and not trashy with customer service to match, then consider spending your money at a different golf course such as River Lakes.

Great staff members! Good course layout. Irrigation problems here and there. Greens are not perfect, but playable.

Nice golf course, beautiful scenery and affordable rates. The fairways are alright and the greens are good. Couple of bunkers under repair during my visit. Only issue I had were the rental clubs I was given. They weren’t cleaned up. (Green fee + cart was $42.50 & rental clubs was $25.
