Always a fun drive up on the weekend. Drive safe as the corners are sharp and everyone takes their super cars up to the mountains on the weekend. It’s snowing btw. Just drive up to Mountain High.

This forest is on mountains. That is green/red mana. I get my mana from the clear waters of the inland lakes and from the murky waters of the swamps. I found myself in these forested mountains anyways, using a rifle to hunt for deer. It was an odd experience. It was my first time hunting with rifle. The forested mountains were magestical. I had a good lunch. I had one shot all day, easy pickings - but I didn't take it. I had a deer in my scopes. It was flushed out, I was hiding. It ran right up to me. I just looked at her. Such a beautiful creature. I said "Hello, deer" and she bolted away through the trees.

I mean, it's a forest. Of course it's 5 out of 5 stars.

This is a great place to distance yourself from much of the craziness that can bend minds. As of February 2022, most of the primary camping sites are open for both Daytime ($5.00) and Overnight ($12.00) stays. Tax dollars are being spent to renew areas on several of the roadways..and sections may be temporarily closed to motorists.
