While visiting from out of town we grabbed an early morning round at Bennett Valley Golf Course. Being from Florida we loved the change of pace this track provided. Great mix of challenge and forgiveness. The staff was super friendly, pace of play was quick but not rushed, the greens were challenging and rolling quick and the natural wildlife was crazy plentiful and always willing to hang around and say hi. Kudos Bennett Valley, it was a great showing!

Came to the restaurant for a HS reunion. The staff was amazing. The food delicious! Atmosphere and environment were top notch! Such a fun time! Kudos to Jessica and the entire team!

Bennett Valley Golf Course is one of the best public golf courses in the area, offering a beautiful and enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The course is well-maintained, with lush fairways, true greens, and mature trees that add both beauty and challenge to each round. The layout is interesting, with a good mix of holes that require different clubs and strategies, making it fun for both beginners and experienced players. The staff at Bennett Valley are always friendly and welcoming, from the pro shop team to the starters and course marshals. They go out of their way to make sure guests have a great experience, whether you’re booking a tee time, renting a cart, or picking up supplies. The pace of play is generally good, even on busy weekends, and the course is managed efficiently to keep things moving. Practice facilities, including the driving range and putting greens, are in excellent condition and a great place to warm up before your round. The clubhouse is inviting, with a well-stocked pro shop and a restaurant that serves tasty food and drinks—a perfect spot to relax after a game. Scenic views of the surrounding hills and the peaceful setting make playing at Bennett Valley especially enjoyable. The course offers great value for the price, with reasonable green fees and frequent specials or twilight rates. Overall, Bennett Valley Golf Course delivers a top-notch golf experience with beautiful scenery, a challenging yet fair layout, and outstanding customer service. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s definitely worth a round!

The greens at Bennett Valley are my favorite part of the course. They are fast and pure most mornings. Lack of funding and unsuitable soil structure has prevented the fairways from ever giving a player a "pure" lie. If you can keep it between the trees here and play off all the challenging lies, your game will be better off in the long run. Great restaurant and bar for both singles and families. Lots of TV's for sports viewing. Driving range is OK. Needs new concrete slabs put down under the mats. Almost every stall is cracking down the middle. Also could use some green targets (like Foxtail) but that would cost money.

The last few times I’ve played here, the pace of play has been extremely slow and almost unbearable. There are a lot of older golfers who prefer to walk the course, and on a busy Friday the holes end up stacked three groups deep. There was no marshal on the course, and the pro shop didn’t seem concerned. I’d avoid this place unless you enjoy waiting 5–10 minutes between shots. I suggest implementing a mandatory cart rule for busy days.
