I don't even know how to begin about how much I LOVE Marbella. We got married here in November and it was the most perfect venue from beginning to end. The day we looked at the space with Kaile Watters we knew it was perfect. Every single thing leading up to the wedding was so easy, elegant, and well taken care of. Kaile is a dream come true to work with, truly. The whole staff went above and beyond to create such a beautiful and memorable wedding day for us. I could go on and on. The fact that nearly everything is taken care of in house made things SO easy for us: picking all the linens, chairs, designing the layout, coming up with signature drinks, etc. The menu tasting was such an incredible experience and people still can't stop talking about how delicious the food was day of! Marbella has so much natural beauty and the space could really be utilized in so many ways to create what you're looking for in a venue. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner outside and moved the dancing indoors so we could keep the party going through midnight. If you're thinking about this location for your wedding, I promise, it's the right choice! Thank you to every single person who made this day memorable for us. If you are a photographer or a couple considering Marbella Country Club for a wedding in San Juan Capistrano, this venue is one of the strongest in Orange County. I photographed Isabella and Joshua's August wedding here with 95 guests and the property handled every part of the day exceptionally well. The combination of Mediterranean architecture, manicured golf course views, and a seamless indoor-outdoor flow gives you visual variety that most venues in this area simply cannot match within a single property. The ceremony lawn overlooking the greens is the standout space. The gold ornamental gates frame the aisle naturally, and the tall cypress trees surrounding the property add vertical structure that makes even a standard composition feel architectural. For an August ceremony starting at 4:30 PM, the afternoon sun required careful positioning, but the shade from the tree line and the depth available from interior window angles made it workable throughout. Shooting from inside through the glass looking out at the ceremony added a layered, editorial quality to the coverage that I rarely get at other venues. The Catalonia Room and terrace for the reception transition cleanly from ceremony energy into an evening celebration. Crystal chandeliers overhead, candles on every table, white florals against the golf course backdrop as it goes dark. The space photographs well at every stage of the night, from golden hour through full reception. From a photographer's standpoint, what makes Marbella particularly strong is the variety of distinct portrait locations within walking distance of each other: the gold gates, the cypress-lined lawn, the golf course greens, interior window perspectives, and the elevated terrace. No transportation needed between spaces, which keeps the day relaxed and the timeline intact. As an Orange County and Los Angeles wedding photographer, Marbella Country Club is a venue I would return to without hesitation. It is well-run, visually versatile, and consistently delivers.

WEDDING VENUE REVIEW: Long story short, if you want a perfectly executed wedding, have it at Marbella. It was the second venue my husband and I toured and we left knowing right away that we wanted to have our wedding there. They offer packages that you can work with to suit your needs and budget and we felt we got a lot for what we paid for, everything was very reasonable. We worked directly with Kaile and Maggie and they were both amazing! The communication was fantastic, they were always available to help us by answering any questions. The vendors they recommended (they give you a preferred vendors list) were fabulous- each of them had worked with Marbella millions of times in the past and I feel like that is what caused my wedding day to run as smoothly as it did. Cannot recommend them enough, as well as Flower Allie, Sweet Traders Bakery, Klink Events, Extreme DJ Service, who exceeded our expectations!

We’re getting married at Marbella Country Club this year, and we couldn’t be more excited. From day one, Kaile and Maggie have been responsive, kind, and genuinely helpful — they’ve made scheduling tours easy, answered every question patiently, and gone out of their way to support us as we plan our big day. The country club itself is absolutely beautiful — elegant, well kept, and a setting we’re proud to share with our family and friends. The location is also perfect, midst of OC but near San Juan Capistrano which is so stunning.

Coming here as a guest is such an experience. Beautiful property in any direction that you look. Every amenity you could imagine and everything is so nice. The staff is helpful and welcoming. Even as a guest you feel like you belong there. The food was absolutely amazing and a great place to be for relaxing and team building.
