It was a great course to play at. Grass is green and the greens are healthy. Definitely had to change my play in the back 9 with the wind. Definitely makes you feel like you’re a pro because of the different approach you have to take.

I play this course every year I come to Salinas in July and August. This year was OK until August 10th. A new "afternoon" manager smelled of booze and slurred speech. At the end of 18 holes he told me I don't need to come back anymore. He said the 3 some with a child golfer walking complaind i was hitting more than one ball and holding them up. The older man among them was very drunk and abusive and did yell something at me but they never came up to ask if they could play through. The manager had told me the play was slow today before I started I am sure he must have informed them as well. I asked the afternoon manager what his name was so I could report him but he told me to get off the property and I left. I don't think they sell alcohol at the restaurant so hadn't had problems with drunk golfers in the past. When a manager can't tell the difference and does not take the time to fill out a proper report on the issue I think he should be replaced or given more instructions so he can handle drunken golfers rants.

This is a relaxed, forgiving golf course. Fairly flat but with some water features, sand traps, and rough hills. Will be golfing here again.

Nice course and well taken care of. Wide open fairways with some being really long and a few being really short. A good mixture. A few of the sand traps were really steep (I know I should not be in there). Lot's of small airplanes taking off over us on the back nine. I'm a newcomer to golf and really enjoyed this course. Fair price with a cart. And........you gotta try the grilled hot dog with everything (except mayo for me). Outstanding! Definitely reccomend this course and will be going back often.

Course is fairly decent but very poorly managed by the head pro Dan. Very ignorant, zero customer service experience and makes you feel unwelcomed.
