We're working on a fix ASAP.
The course itself was beautiful and in great shape. The views were fantastic, and you can tell the grounds are well maintained. Unfortunately, the way our round was managed made the experience much less enjoyable than it should have been. We knew going into the weekend that we had a group of five, including two brand new golfers, so we called several days ahead of time to make sure that wouldn’t be an issue. We explained our situation, and the staff assured us they would be happy to accommodate us. Because of that, I was surprised by how much pressure we were under almost immediately. Before we had even finished the first hole, we were told we needed to speed up. At that point, one of our new golfers had only taken a single swing. We completely understood that we would be playing a little slower than an experienced foursome, which is exactly why we were proactive and called ahead. We also tried to do the right thing throughout the round. We were told to let faster groups play through so we wouldn’t hold anyone up, and we did exactly that. Later, though, another staff member told us they didn’t want groups playing through us. The mixed messages were frustrating because we were simply trying to follow the instructions we had been given. I understand this is a busy public course, and I don’t expect an empty course or unlimited time. But if the course is going to accept groups with beginners, especially after assuring them in advance that it wasn’t a problem, there needs to be a little more flexibility and clearer communication. It’s hard to help someone learn the game and actually enjoy their first experience when everyone feels rushed from the very first hole. I do want to give credit where it’s due. The staff ultimately gave our group a full refund for the round, which we genuinely appreciated. That was a thoughtful gesture and showed they recognized our experience wasn’t what it should have been. Overall, I’d definitely say the course is worth playing if you’re an experienced golfer. It’s a beautiful place. However, based on our experience, I don’t think I’d recommend it to anyone who is just learning the game. With better communication and a little more consideration for groups with beginners, this could have been a much more enjoyable experience. I do wish that management had told us their expectations of the players and the pace of play here before scheduling a round. Had we known this, we likely would have been able to find somewhere else to go and enjoy a fun, full round of golf.

I’ve been alive for 24 years and have never written a review until today…This is the absolute worst course I have ever been too, not because of the course itself, the course is beautiful, the management is horrible, went for a bachelor party (Group of 5) after calling way ahead of time asking if this would be acceptable, with such a big group and 2 beginners that have never golfed before, they told us this would be okay, and they would accommodate us, we get to the first hole, about halfway done and then they start rushing us telling us we need to pick our balls up and move to hole 2, keep in mind this is about 5 minutes after we had tee’d off, we were letting other players play through us because we have 2 beginners, and all the other players were super cool and understanding and just played through, but the management wasn’t okay with our beginner people not being able to drive the ball 200+ yards, and we were being rushed the entire time telling us to pick up the balls and move on, Golf is supposed to be relaxing and peaceful but when you are being hounded to go faster after 2 strokes, no beginner is going to want to keep playing the sport and actually enjoy getting into it when you are being forced to skip holes and take 0 practice swings and not be able to critique your swing, we all traveled out of town to come here and i will never return. by hole 8 they told us to jump to hole 15 after we paid for a full 18 holes so we ended up deciding to just leave and yes we got a refund for our money, but this place is not beginner friendly at all so if you plan on enjoying your time on the course do not go here.

My favorite local golf course. Good greens, good fairways, nice clubhouse, and pro shop. Maybe they do a lot not too long, not too short not too hard not too easy. A great course for average golfers that is open the public.

The absolute worst for the pace of play. They sent everyone out. The group front of us, they shouldn’t belong here at all. Can’t even hit a ball, they drove Their cart to the green, and shared their clubs together with kids. Call pro shop but no Marshall whatsoever. What a shame

What a beautiful course and such friendly golfers! Feels like home away from home. No wonder it's so busy. I especially appreciate the importance placed on pace of play. Wish other courses were better about that. Etiquette rules!
