Absolutely terrible experience. Our tee time was at 11:40 AM, and we arrived at 11:45 AM just 5 minutes late. However, after waiting in the long check in line, the employee at the front desk claimed we were 10 minutes late because of the time spent waiting in line. When I politely explained that we had only arrived 5 minutes after our tee time and that the additional delay was due to their line, he immediately became rude and argumentative. The situation only got worse. He then claimed we were supposed to be there at 11:30 AM, despite our actual tee time being 11:40 AM, and suddenly started saying we were 20 minutes late. His attitude was incredibly disrespectful, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. Rather than trying to help or find a reasonable solution, he seemed to enjoy exercising whatever authority he had. We were then told we wouldn’t be able to play until 4:00 PM, and even later if we wanted carts. This was completely unacceptable. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that this was supposed to be a special Father’s Day outing. We brought our 70 year old grandfather with us for a day of family bonding and golf. Instead, the entire day was ruined by one employee’s terrible attitude and lack of customer service. I’ve been golfing for over 15 years and have played at countless courses. Never once have I encountered someone as rude, dismissive, and power hungry as the man working the front desk that day. First impressions matter, and this was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I will never return to this course and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming or customer friendly golf experience.

We showed up to our tee time on 4/27/2026 just to be told the greens were being aerated and only the back 9 was available to play. Fine but the fairways were absolute trash. It felt like hitting into the rough. I shouldn't watch my ball disappears if I'm in the fairway. It was extremely busy and pace of play was extremely slow. Groups in front of us were purposely taking multiple tee shots and disrespectful of groups behind them. To top it all off....the food on course, Beach Hut Deli, gave us all food poisoning! Absolutely no quality control going on with this course. Extremely disappointed.

1 star because at least there’s a bathroom on the course, but not a single fairway. You’re just teeing off a patch of grass onto another patch of grass. There’s gotta be 20 different species of grass on each hole, if there’s any grass at all on some of them. Imaging hitting a stinger straight down the middle just for there to be a patch of rock hard dirt. The greenskeeper gotta be blind or something. Do not recommend.

This place is great for getting in a round of golf for a low rate and great customer service! I’ve also received lessons from Don and he dropped 8 points off my handicap with a handful of lessons. Another under rated perk is their range has grass to can hit off of. They don’t have the fancy trackman software but I’ll take that fact I can practice on real grass. The course is highly dependent on season, the last review went during dead of winter which can spotted growth. If you are low handicap or CC kind of player, you may find this course underwhelming. Majority of players here work on their game and just have a good time! Not to mention they have a Beach Hut Deli with a great selection of beers along with bucket options of FireBall! This course is affordable and people here just chill. They also have kids lessons that won’t break the bank either, with incredible PGA instructors! Highly recommend!

Cordova Golf Course is a beautiful, well maintained course lush with trees, flowering bushes, and other vibrant plants. Doug, the manager, is extremely professional, respectful, and provides outstanding customer service. The course is extremely affordable, and perfect for golfers of all levels.
