Woodcreek Golf Course might be one of the worst cared for golf courses in Northern California. The place was absolutely destroyed and yet they still find a way to charge $65 for a weekend tee time. I’ve seen cow pastures in better shape than this place. Bunkers were absolute trash and unplayable. The goose droppings were unbearable and if you were close to a water feature, it smelled like hot garbage. The greens looked like they hadn’t been mowed in 4 days and the cups were so smashed it made putting a crap shoot to say the least. To top it off I was disgusted with my post round meal of a terrible cheeseburger and burnt fries for the low price of $18. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra 3 minutes and pay $5 more to play Timber Creek. The longer we continue to pay these prices for garbage golf courses like this the longer they will stick around to over charge us for a glorified dog track. Woodcreek and the city of Roseville should be ashamed of the product they have provided.

I’ve had either mid or bad experiences every time I’ve been here. First thing I will touch on is customer service. In the shop, there has only been one friendly person out of the dozens of times I’ve come. It’s a young lady I wish I knew her name for a shout out. There are a couple of really rude men, and this last time one really stuck out to me. I would like to state thati ama black man, and unfortunately I think that’s relevant. He drove in front of me while I was hitting my tee shot on one, then doubles back to talk to me about it and ask where my other tee member is. My brother meets me on fairway of one, then he drives up to lecture us about how we are holding everyone up. I will add that I hit on my tee time. No one was held up. He then told us that under no means can we join the group ahead of us, because I did realize my friends were there, and I said that’s no problem. We play 2, no problem. On hole 3, we say hi as they finish teeing off. The guy pulled back up and started lecturing my brother and I and we didn’t even tee up yet. We were waiting. After correcting his false accusations, you would think he would leave us alone. Nope. He continued to drive up and watch us on holes 6, ,8 , 9, ,10 , and 12. Then, a new starts his shift and talks to us on 15. After realizing we were cool, he didn’t bug us anymore. I think he was tipped off by the first guy. I spent the whole round being harassed and followed by some punk for an unknown or at least an unspoken reason. This was unacceptable. Course conditions: This course has always had the worst bunkers in all of the greater Sacramento area. Their fairways are nothing to brag about either. It amazes me that they believe it’s justified to charge as much for a round as their local competition does. Whitney oaks and Timber creek are far superior courses with much more care put into them and better customer service. I’m done giving this place chances.

Has anyone ever heard of a golf course that you have to be 21 to drive a cart? I’m 20 years old haven’t been denied a cart in years and at much higher in courses then this place. I played here over a year ago and drove a cart so don’t know if this is some new policy or what they said it was because of past damages but they take everyone’s info every time they get a cart so just hold those people accountable and don’t ruin for everyone else.

We have played the front nine at Woodcreek on several occasions, but yesterday we played the back nine for the very first time. It was the worst experience ever. The roughs are so unkept that you can’t hit your ball out of them. Not well maintained at all. The greens were nice. That’s it. There are absolutely no yardage markers or stakes to be found. We only saw one marker post on a blind curve, necessitating that we drive up on several of them to see where we were going and what we were facing. The map on the scorecard or signage didn’t help. There were no signs directing you to the next tee box and confusing cart paths. We were so frustrated with the conditions that we picked up after 6 of the 18 holes paid for and left and immediately went elsewhere to play a relaxing and enjoyable round of golf. We won’t be going back there unless it’s for the front 9 only. And then it would only be after much consideration. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Woodcreek is a great course in the west Roseville area. I especially enjoy it for the driving range that’s lighted in the evenings during the summer . Greens were good and well maintained from what I saw but I have heard complaints from others on the conditions being bad during certain times of the year.
