Beautiful property and very nice rooms. Interaction with staff was pleasant. Everyone was very polite. We were not impressed with the food offerings and prices at the restaurants on site, so we ended up going into town for both dinner (a wonderful Greek restaurant) and breakfast (at a great mom and pop diner). Highly recommend for a stay that is pleasantly affordable near Palm Springs. Consider not eating on site....

The location is highly advantageous, offering close proximity to the airport amidst a backdrop of extensive, well-maintained greenery. Accommodations are generous in size, featuring high-quality furnishings. The sheer scale of the resort is notable; navigating from the reception area to the guest rooms can require a substantial walk. However, the breadth of amenities compensates well, with options ranging from aquatic activities at the pools to relaxation at the spa, or recreation on the golf course. We had a wonderful stay at The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa. Francisco Magana checked us in after a long flight. We were exhausted, and he immediately lifted our spirits. He made us laugh, walked us through the hotel layout, and gave us clear direction on where we needed to be the next day for the DMSCA conference. His energy and professionalism set the tone for our stay. The cleaning crew was excellent - thorough, attentive, and consistent. The conference experience was well executed. The food and service were excellent throughout. The resort itself is beautiful. The setting and overall atmosphere made it a memorable stay. We would gladly return.

The resort’s decorations feel somewhat dated, but that was within my expectations. My low rating is mainly due to my experience with the restaurant, Pinzimini, and with the hotel’s phone support. At breakfast, we noticed that some cups on our table had visible coffee stains, and a guest at the table next to us pointed out a lipstick mark on one of their cups. This gave us concerns about cleanliness. We also had an issue with billing. Although we used complimentary breakfast vouchers for platinum members, we were charged the full price. A few days after checkout, we were charged again by the restaurant. When I called the hotel, I was directed to submit a form on guestcalls.com to address the issue. I was uncomfortable using that method, so I contacted Marriott customer support instead, and the support agent never heard of the site. After about a week, one of the duplicate charges was refunded, but the other has not yet been resolved. I have stayed at many Marriott properties and had not encountered these kinds of cleanliness or billing problems before. Based on this experience, I would not choose to return.
