Perched above Placerville at 3,000 feet, Cold Springs is a par 72 championship course known for pine lined fairways, crisp air, and mountain views. Originally opened in 1960, it has matured into a challenging but fair layout, measuring around 6,300 yards from the tips. Tree corridors tighten approaches, while the hilly terrain adds both charm and shotmaking demands. Outstanding 18, very, very well maintained course. Fairways are narrow and challenging but not overly punishing. Greens were as smooth as a carpet and putted true. The restaurant is a nice place to wind down with an adult beverage and a bite. Oh, friendly and helpful staff, too.

Tough and beautiful course. The tale of two nines. Short and strategic front 9, and long and tough back nine. Great staff, very good bar and bar tendres! Excellent experience

The beautifully manicured grounds featured rolling hills and stunning vistas. The club members were welcoming and low-key. I went to enjoy live music on a warm July evening. Thanks to my brother's membership, we had excellent seats, in his golf cart!
