Beautiful course and phenomenal location. Don’t be dissuaded by other negative reviews. If you’re planning on playing here, simply make sure your expectations are set correctly. This is a beautiful mountain course with amazing vistas and towering sugar pines! The growing season for grass is short, and the course has made the decision to use minimal fertilizers and fungicides because of the ecological sensitivity of the mountain valley. As you can imagine this makes growing and maintaining the course super difficult. Despite those challenges, I think the designer and the staff have done an amazing job of laying out and maintaining the course. Greens rolled great and I loved the cool boardwalks that connected many of the different holes. Great course and a great staff. If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth giving this place a shot!

Came here for a work retreat. Absolutely gorgeous setting but the conditions of the course left a lot to be desired. Overall pretty difficult with tons of forced carries but an enjoyable course nonetheless.

Course is tough. Needs some work but for links style is fairly decent. The greens in some areas are patchy. The bunkers are mostly under repair. Fairways were in good shape. Great views and interesting course layout make it worth playing.

Really disappointed with this course. The greens, bunkers and fairways all need work. The staff were rude and every single hole felt like it played basically the same. Not to mention it was $45 to rent clubs. Not worth the green fee. The views were exceptional but course condition really took away from this.

Terrible shape. Greens were spotty grass with large areas of sand. Tee boxes were not much better as most had very little grass. The fairways had areas of turf grass but were predominantly low cut weeds. I haven’t played golf in this area before so maybe this is common in June, but I definitely did not expect this for $85. We were on pace for a 5 hour round and decided 9 holes were enough for us.
