Amazing course with water views. We had an early time with a bit of marine layer to start and beautiful sunshine to end. Makes me wish I lived in the area so I could play this course and the others around SLO on a regular basis. Amazing value!

This is a great course that's easy to play as there are no water hazards. Good layout. And do you have to remember that everything rolls to the ocean on the fairways and that when you look at the greens I think the same way, at least on the front nine. Smaller but nice pro shop bar area and some simple foods are available. Nice patio outside tucked away from the wind. Good place to have a refreshment. There is a driving range and a practice area for putting as well. You can rent carts, pull carts and no doubt, clubs. Weather can be unpredictable as you have the coastal fog which can come and go to in the morning. Definitely worth playing if you're in the area.

Yes, the views are great, and the course is in good shape, but play is slow, chaotic and the Marshall does not do anything when a flight has 8 players in 3 carts holding up everybody. Carts ran out of juice several times. With a bit more care it would be a great course.

The staff were super friendly, and the course itself offers a good variety of challenges with different types of greens—great for sharpening your game. The location and views also add a lot to the overall experience. That said, I was playing with my son and found a few of the regulars to be less than patient with newer golfers, which was a bit disappointing. The main issue, however, was the course marshal—who didn’t do much to manage pace of play. We ended up skipping the 10th hole due to a backup caused by a slow-moving, drinking foursome, and continued from the 11th, which was wide open through to the 18th. Despite the hiccups with a few locals and a lack of support from the marshal, everything else—from the vibe to the layout—was really enjoyable. I’d definitely return, just hoping for a smoother pace next time.

Me and a buddy got a tee time for mid day on a Friday. I wasn’t sure what to expect considering the $40 a person green fee and being a public course. I was blown away by the staff and course conditions. The staff in the pro shop were incredibly nice and even gave us a mini tour to show us where the starter was and how to use the dispenser for the driving range. The starter was friendly and on point. She even offered us to move up about 20 mins early. We chose to stick to our time and enjoyed the course with a single that joined us. The course is well kept. The only thing that could use a little work are the cart paths. They definitely keep your cart speed in check lol. Great views from most holes and fast greens. This is easily one of my favorite courses and I can’t wait to come back.
