Played both the Valley and the Tournament courses this past weekend in an event. Both courses were in great shape, the greens were pretty quick, though the Valley Course greens are hard as rocks, and don't receive shots well. This makes the Valley very difficult, as the green complexes are very undulated. I played both of my rounds in the morning so wind wasn't a big issue until we were finishing. I have played the Valley in an afternoon practice round and the wind is a huge factor. Big gusts. The Tournament course is a wonderful Jack Nicklaus design, and like many Nicklaus courses, if you play a cut you will enjoy how it fits the eye. The green complexes on the Tournament course are awesome, the greens held and the layout is really good. A lot of character for being in such an open area. Top notch golf facility. Food and beverage staff were really cool as well in the bar area and halfway house. The shop staff was good too, bought some gear :). 4.5 / 5.0

Really enjoyed this track. You will need a good driver on several Valley course holes. Good opportunities to score. Very open fairways, little to no elevation. Greens, fairways, and bunkers were in good shape. Nice practice facility with practice putting green. We were there Memorial Day but pace of play was still very good. Friendly pro shop that's well stocked. To go bar/grille was a bit slow so plan on a 15-20 minute wait for food.

The immaculate condition of the course is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the maintenance crew, who ensured a fantastic playing experience for all participants. Furthermore, the banquet support staff and everyone else involved in the lead-up to and on the day of the tournament were exceptional. Their professionalism and attentiveness created a truly positive buzz among our attendees. We're already looking forward to continuing our collaboration with Coyote Creek Golf Club for future events! Great venue for our daughter’s quinceanera! Beautiful setting and event space, nice patio and outdoor space to enjoy the views and take photos. Miranda, event manager, was very helpful in the planning process leading up to our event, made the planning process easy. Very professional, answered all of our questions, offered suggestions/ideas. And Star was great helping everything run smoothly during the event. I would definitely host an event there again.

We played the Tournament Course which I didn’t find as tough as last time I played it 20 years ago. The course had just been aerated, but was still in very good condition. The holes on the upper side of the 101 are the most interesting and visually appealing. Pace of play was excruciatingly slow. At the turn I pointed out to a course marshal that the group in front of us consisted of five players. I have never experienced this on a quality course before and since we were a twosome, we waited typically 5-10 minutes per hole. If the course think that this is acceptable then they should inform visitors in their literature. I paid what I consider a lot of money, $70 per head for myself and my son and did not see once anyone driving round checking on the speed of play. I would give Coyote Creek five stars, however the slow play very much tainted the experience.
