Always a great time! The check-in staff are kind and efficient. Only did the large bucket of balls for the range today, but it was good seeing the groundskeeper on-site working on green repairs. Always very affordable too!

Greens are in great shape, we were very impressed with them, especially for a muni! Their greens are better than some country clubs around town right now. (Running about a 10.5-11) The tee boxes are in great shape, the only downside was the bunkers, no sand. We played in 4hrs, never waited, and paid $57 to ride.They’ve really turned the course around for the better.

🚩 State of the Course: Madera Community Golf I love this course, but we’ve got a serious problem. Rule #1 of any golf course is having actual golf balls available to play. 🏌️‍♂️❌ Showing up twice now only to find the buckets are empty isn't just a "bummer"—it’s a waste of everyone's time. We’re out here to support the local community and get some swings in, but you can’t play the game if the shop isn't stocked. • To the Management: Let's get those range buckets filled and the pro shop stocked. • To the Locals: Might want to call ahead or bring a massive backup stash until they get this sorted. “Marshall” constantly harassing players about pace of play (2x on the front 9). I understand we had a group of 5 but we kept up pace of play with other groups. There was a solo player in front of us. When he was on the green, we were teeing off right behind him. Tee time 6:48AM Finished front 9 in 2 hours, back 9 in another two. At our cars by 11 o’clock. Do better. Absolutely unprofessional and ruined our time out there on a beautiful day. This happened on multiple occasions on different days to other friends that frequent the course too.

Always excited to play Madera Muni! Professional staff and service. Course is well maintained, greens are always in great shape. Sand bunkers could use some work but you'll learn how to hit out of them. They are not the fluffy white sand more towards the the harder packed river sand. You got to pick the ball out with a lower bounce wedge. Go ahead a give it a try!
