Cool little 9 hole course to walk. Greens are dry and fast. Bunkers are hard packed dirt and not sand. Garmin has me at 2 miles of walking the full course. $15 twilight is a great deal. I'll be returning for sure.

I love coming to Bixby Village early in the morning for one of the first tee times. It's quiet, nobody around. Just me and the course. I come here for Iron/wedge/putting and never bring my driver so I can't say that I have ever kept my score. Maybe the first time I did. Anyways, it is perfect for practice because there is a wide variety of holes for a 9 hole course. Some are shorter than others, primarily 5 and 6, but for the most part, all of them are on par with what you would expect. The morning guy is great, I always forget his name because I'm terrible and hate asking when I've been more than once but I'll catch it sometime. Thanks Bixby Village!

Ooof. Well if you take golf remotely seriously than stay far way. Club house ppl were nice/friendly. But other than that avoid like the plague. Will say it has potential, but needs a lot of tlc

Though it's a short 9-hole course, and it's not that in good shape, but Bixby Village Golf Course has its own recipes. Hole 1 is straight ahead Par 3 with 160 yards to warm you up; Hole 2 100 yards Par 4, with a pond on left side of the fairway and the green, the game starts to get interesting here. Hole 3, 320 yards Par 4, dogleg left with houses lined up on the corner of dogleg, need to drive more than 250 to across them, then the escalated green (on your left) will be waiting there for your approach shot. Followed by 5 mins walk passing through a tunnel to Hole 4, 284 yards, another Par 4, fairway straight ahead until 50 yards in front of the green with 3 big bunkers surrounding it. Then Hole 5/6/7 are all ordinary Par holes, while the green of Hole 7 is a tricky one, as there's literally a small "valley" on it, where the ping is usually set in it. Hole 8, 350 yards Par 4, the longest and the normal one here in Bixby Village, but a 90 degree dogleg right, can either drive 250 yards over the trees or lay up at 180 yards. In general, though Bixby is nothing fancy, but to spend some relaxing 2 hours here is recommendable.

You don't come here to play a prestine course on a Sunday morning. You come here when you can't find a T time for the weekend last minute and want to play anyway. I've booked T times here multiple times on a Friday night for the next morning and they almost always have a spot. It is dirt cheap and the course shows that but if you're trying to get a quick last minute round in with boys, soak in a few lip pillows and down a couple coors latte's this is the spot. Half the time I come here I back-to-back the course to play 18. I just book the "back 9" on my phone while finishing up hole 9. As far as the golf goes its not something to write books about but each hole has something unique about it. One of the greens literally has a sand trap in the middle of it. You're either laying up a putt or lobing it off the deck LOL. Some of the greens have wild miniature golf slopes. You can technically drive 2 holes here. Hole 4 and hole 8 but you gotta take a little heat off them they are not long. Don't forget the food. This course leases out the kitchen to a dude who makes 100% fresh burgers with amazing homemade ingredients. No exaggeration probably one of the best burgers i've had in my entire life. I give this place 5 stars for the experience I expect when I go there. This place is its own thing. Bixby rules.
