Beautiful course with some elevation changes that make the holes fun to play.

Played Friday June 19th - Course was in pretty decent shape. Staff was very nice except for the 3 cart guys. When we arrived the signage said to use the bag drop. Had to park on the street due to limited parking. 2 cart staff were on their phone and one was throwing golfballs 30 feet in the air and letting them hit the pavement. When I loaded our bags the cart was actually attached to another in tow mode. After pleading... I finally got the cart attendant off his phone he told me I had to walk the bags up the hill to get a cart. I don't mean to ramble about having to handle my own bags but when you pay $200 a person for a round - I would expect cart staff to be a little more helpful and actually working. Carts have no coolers on them and we were not given a towel, waters or tees which normally you would come to expect with a premium course. Pace of play was horrific and we finished after 5 hours 45 minutes. The views were good and I'm glad we got to make a last minute time but I would definitely not come back here. Pretty overpriced for a underwhelming experience.

Loved everything about Steele Canyon - friendly and helpful staff and wow what a golf course - great condition, greens are fast and challenging but very well kept, some amazing views around Ranch particularly - all with Californian sun - what’s not to like?! Would love to play Canyon - next time!! 5 stars

Excellent course! Fun layout - interesting holes, many have significant elevation changes in play. Lots of risk-reward situations making you think. Fast challenging greens. Fairways mostly in good shape. Friendly service.

Wow! The course was beautiful but it was tuff. The young man in the club house was very helpful. I rented clubs and he had them ready before I got there. (720am tee time) I hit the driving ranch then was on my way. I played the canyon course then ranch. Both were awesome. The only bad part was it looks like no one know how to repair their ball makes on the green. Would definitely recommend this course if you want a challenge with great scenery.
