I called three times, trying to reserve a tee time for one golfer, and the couldn’t help me. I came in asked about left handed rental clubs and was assured they had them I asked multiple times and they stood by it, but they were currently being used. I booked my tee time, get to the pro shop again for my tee time the next day and there are no left handed rental clubs, and the person helping me was on the phone scheduling an appointment for themselves shushed me while on the phone after initiating the conversation, then finally ring me up (without the rental clubs which I reminded him of twice), and then he discovers there are no left handed rentals. Worst service I’ve ever had at a golf course BY FAR.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, no exaggeration. The place was so filthy dirty, I will attach pictures. There was Hair all over the bathroom there was pee on the toilet. I was so grossed out by the hair that I took a wad of toilet paper to swipe it up and the dirt that came up with it was so disgusting. I don’t think our room was cleaned at all for a long time. I also attached two pictures of either food or blood stains one by the entrance and one by the mini fridge. I had a cigarette hole in my sheet, my brother‘s card to the room stopped working, and so if we didn’t have mine, we never would’ve been able to get in because the hotel check-in is at the pro shop which doesn’t open until 11. We didn’t even have a washcloth to use for our shower. I hate to even think what was on my sheets with that lack of cleanliness but at that time of night, of course there’s no front desk to assist you because the pro shop is closed. We also felt very foolish when we went to the fitness center and they told us we don’t have access there, when the check-in information clearly states we do. They looked at us like they didn’t know what we were talking about and had to go to the pro shop to discuss. Well, the hotel doesn’t open until 11 and so there was no one there to discuss our frustration. The garbage that has been at the bottom of the stairs at our hotel has been sitting there the entire three days we’ve been here. We are just so disappointed in the quality and lack of being able to contact somebody for any issues that may arise. I sent an email to them with all these frustrations and of course no reply, because there is like a 20 year old kid running the hotel through the window of a golf shop, with the golf shop hours being 11am -9pm. If you come early or late check in, or your key stops working, you will sleep in your car.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! No matter how close it is to your event it is not worth it. * No front desk support * TV was stuck on one channel with no remote and very loud * Mini fridge was moldy and stored in a cabinet filled with mildew * one blanket for two queen beds * Sink plunger was stuck in the down position * On site “restaurant” was a joke * Trims and baseboards in room were old and crusty/dusty * no front desk support to deal with any of these issues during your stay. The only positive I can think of is being in a gated community, but even that made it hard to get an Uber or deliveries. I was counting on Uber during this stay and ended up feeling trapped in a bad hotel with no help. DO NOT STAY HERE!

If this had been just one bad issue, I could have overlooked it. Unfortunately, the problems with this hotel were widespread and point to serious management failure. A few examples: -Check-in during normal evening hours was unreliable because no one was there, and even during posted business hours the front desk often did not answer the phone. -Staff seemed unfamiliar with basic information about the hotel and its amenities, and were generally unhelpful. And that's when they picked up the phone. -We stopped by the hotel office at 10:00 a.m. on a Tuesday and found it locked and seemingly abandoned. We were told it does not open until 11:00 a.m., which makes it very difficult to get help in the morning. -The website presents the property with attractive photos, but the actual condition of the hotel is very different. In person, the property looks neglected and poorly maintained. -Our room key cards stopped working during our stay, and if that happens before 11:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m., there appears to be no practical way to get assistance. -The resort roads were in poor condition, with broken and downed signs throughout the property. -Exterior lighting was also in poor shape, with broken fixtures and an overall appearance of neglect. -The room itself was not clean. We stayed in a room with two queen beds, and for two people over three nights, we were provided only one mini Economy soap. -The room did not even have a garbage can. -There was no room service or housekeeping support during the stay. We were left with only two towels for multiple days, regardless of room occupancy, and there were no washcloths. -Attempts to contact the hotel by phone or email were met with no response. Overall, this was one of the most poorly managed hotel experiences I have had. The Motel 6 of resorts. The property is misrepresented online, poorly maintained, and almost impossible to get help from when you need it.

We stayed one night at Indian Palms Country Club and overall had a neutral-to-positive experience. It provided exactly what I needed for a quick overnight stay. The room itself was a bit outdated, but you can tell it was once very nice. It had all the basics: a comfortable enough bed, microwave, mini fridge, TV, iron and ironing board, a small counter with two chairs, a ceiling fan, and an A/C unit. The room wasn’t perfectly clean (it probably could have used a quick sweep), but it also wasn’t gross or concerning. One small issue we noticed was that the bathroom fan, when turned on, intermittently made a loud noise while running. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. The security staff at the front gate was the first person we interacted with, and he was very nice and patient as we were initially confused about where to go on the property. When we got to our room, the door to the first room we were assigned wouldn’t work and the lights didn’t come on when inserting the keycard. We called the front desk and the staff member came out right away, helped troubleshoot, and then moved us into another room without any hassle. He was friendly and patient the whole time. We did try the hot tub, although if it hadn’t been dark we probably would have skipped it. The water was only warm and the jets weren’t working, and the pool area looked like it may not get used very often. There is also a restaurant/bar in the same building as the front desk, but we arrived around 6:30 PM and it closes early so we didn’t get a chance to try it. The property itself is very large and gated, which makes it feel safe but also a little tricky to navigate. I would recommend arriving during daylight if possible. The location is great if you need to be near Indio, the courthouse, or Coachella, and it was very quiet during our stay. For the price, it felt worth it. We just needed a safe, decent place to stay for the night and that’s exactly what it provided. I read reviews ahead of time which helped set realistic expectations. A couple improvements that would make the stay even better: the hot tub working properly, pool towels available near the pool area, and maybe a simple guide or map in the room showing where amenities are located. It would also be helpful if that guide included instructions or tips for ordering food to the property, since the grounds are large and somewhat confusing to navigate—we felt unsure about trying to have food delivered because we weren’t confident a driver would easily find the room. I also wasn’t sure if there was a fitness center and didn’t have time to ask. It would also have been nice if there had been a simple broom available in the room or nearby, since the floor just needed a quick sweep, but it wasn’t a big enough issue for me to call staff back over. Overall I would still give it 5 stars because it delivered what we needed for a simple overnight stay.
