The one of the best golf course. A bit difficult for beginners. The course and trees are wonderful. Very close to the Yosemite National Park. If you have a time to stay near by the Yosemite. It's great place. The price is also great $62 for visitors.

To Whom It May Concern, I wanted to reach out about the… unique experience my group had at your course recently. And by “unique,” I mean the kind of thing you tell people later because you can’t believe it actually happened. My group—six of the nine whole golfers on the property that day—came out expecting a laid-back round. We all paid for full rounds with carts, and since the course was emptier than a New Year’s gym on January 15th, we figured we could actually enjoy ourselves. No one behind us, no pressure, just a nice day. Apparently, this was too much to handle. Despite literally having no golfers within miles, your pro shop staff decided we were “taking too long.” I didn’t realize pace-of-play rules apply even when the course is basically a private resort, but hey—maybe your employee just really loves enforcing rules for imaginary people. Truly a passion project. Then, when we returned our carts—which were not full of trash, food, wrappers, or anything remotely messy—we got the bonus treatment: my dad, my uncles, and my friends were all called “a bunch of yahoos.” A bold customer service technique. Innovative, even. I’m sure calling paying customers names is exactly what the PGA handbook recommends. Just so we’re all clear: we were respectful, we didn’t litter, we didn’t damage anything, and we weren’t holding up anyone. The only thing we did was dare to enjoy an empty golf course at a normal human pace instead of sprinting from shot to shot like we were on some speed-golf reality show. If your staff is bored, please—give them crossword puzzles, sudoku, a coloring book, something. Harassing the only people actually on the course probably isn’t the best outlet for their creative energy. Anyway, I hope this feedback helps. I’d love to come back sometime, ideally on a day when the worst thing we have to worry about is a bunker shot—not being scolded for existing on a wide-open course

This is a gem in the foothills on the way to Yosemite. I have been playing here for 23 years and am still thrilled every time I tee off on the vista that is the number one tee. Mike and the staff have done an excellent job on the course, especially in the winter of 2020 with limited rain. The fairways are very fast and the greens fast but true. They replaced all the carts in 2019 with brand new ones with USB chargers. The snack shack is great with good dogs and sandwiches and hot soup in the winter. Had the clam chowder on Friday and it was fantastic. It's a hilly, challenging par 70 that will test any golfer and absolutely worth a visit from anywhere in Northern California.

I don’t play as much as some people, but I play as much as a regular guy can afford to. I usually walk 9 holes because that’s what I have time and money for. I’ve played most of the courses in the Central Sierras, and I recently had the pleasure of visiting PML Golf Course for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Upon learning it was my first visit, they gave me a handy booklet detailing all the holes, which was a nice touch. The course is quite hilly, and the staff was surprised I planned to walk it, but it was lovely weather for August and I had no issues. I felt genuinely appreciated from the moment I arrived. The quality of the driving range and course was top notch (reminder I’m not a tour player nor have I played all over the world, so this is just my subjective view). Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it! I’m really looking forward to playing all 18 one day.
