Challenging mountain course made up mostly of par 3s with a few par 4s mixed in there. Great views of the valley at a very reasonable price.

Great place to practice! The course is well maintained, the practice facilities are in great shape, and the driving range is equipped with screens, so you can track your shots, distances, and practice with different game modes. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the scenery is beautiful, especially in the morning and around sunset. It can get busy on weekends, but it’s still one of my favorite places to practice golf in the area.

The views are nice, but the lack of safety and etiquette on this course is a major concern. Because the holes are so close together, it is vital to follow golf etiquette, yet many golfers here seem to have none. I was nearly hit twice by balls from nearby holes, and both times, the group never yelled 'Fore.' There are way too many drunk and uneducated golfers out here who don't understand the risks. The course conditions are mediocre, but the lack of safety oversight is the real reason I won’t be back anytime soon

School Canyon Golf Course was the perfect spot for my first time golfing. The views of the los angeles sky line enhanced the views as we moved further along the holes.

Scholl Canyon Golf Course is a short 18-hole with many Par 3 holes, totally Par 60. Course designs and conditions are fine, takes good advantage of limited land while not so challenging hence yet fun to play in for the Front 9. But the Back 9 is whole another story, Hole 10 an uphill short Par 4; Hole 12 an uphill Par3 while the green is in a little valley; Hole 13, a dogleg right with big ditch in front of the green, probably the most challenging hole of the course; followed by Hole 14 a big ditch in front of the green and Hole 15/16 big downhill slope from tee box, bring you down back to the hill foot, and the view from top to down, just lovely. The best thing here is that you get the view of Downtown LA., especially when you get to drive all the way up from Hole 11 to Hole 12, you'll understand what I talk about. Point is that the view of DTLA will involve part of the Scholl Canyon, just magnificent 😉.
