Exceptional Venue for a Celebration of Life From my very first conversation with Ana and Bryana, I knew Mile Square Golf Course was the perfect place for our Celebration of Life. Their kindness, professionalism, and warmth made a difficult time so much easier, and I am beyond grateful for the experience. The venue itself is stunning, elegant, light, airy, and uplifting, which was exactly what we wanted for this occasion. The room’s clean, timeless aesthetic required little decoration, yet it felt warm and intimate. The table spacing was perfect, offering both comfort and closeness for our guests. The accommodations were top-notch. The team provided a large screen and laptop for our video montage, a cable to play personal music through the in-house speaker system, as well as a microphone and podium. They even supplied an easel for our loved one’s portrait and an additional table for photographs, ensuring that every personal touch was seamlessly integrated. The linen selection was extensive, but we opted for classic all-white linens, which complemented the elegant setting beautifully. The service was impeccable. Ana and Bryana were not only responsive, professional, and incredibly accommodating, but also genuinely kind and authentic, a quality that extended to the entire staff. They ensured that everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The water and tea pitchers were always full, plates were cleared discreetly, and the overall hospitality was second to none. The food was exceptional, our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! While everything was incredibly delicious, the Waldorf salad, fresh vegetables, warm rolls, chicken and cookies were particular standouts. It's almost impossible to find a meal of this caliber for just $30 per person, making it not only a beautiful event but an outstanding value. Logistics were effortless. The club’s entrance was easily accessible, parking was a breeze, and the staff even allowed me early access to set up table centerpieces and our photograph table. Set-up and breakdown were seamless, handled efficiently and professionally. If I had to describe this experience in one word: exceptional. The level of care, service, and quality provided by Mile Square Golf Course exceeded every expectation. I am so grateful to have chosen them for this special event and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a truly elegant, stress-free, and beautifully executed gathering. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A great place for playing golf as well as for having events at the clubhouse, The large course occupies much of Mile Square Park, providing a scenic backdrop of green-space with leisure activity’s for visitors! It can be crowded ant times, so best to plan accordingly. There’s an attractive clubhouse with cafe, events space and wedding venue. Junior golf lessons are provided by the entrance off of Warner Avenue, along with a driving range. Parking is free for golfers and guests of clubhouse event’s.

HORRIBLE Experience! Don't waste your money here. They are only getting 1 star because the fairways are really well maintained and in great shape. Everything else about this course deserves no stars. AVOID giving your money to management that clearly does not care about their players. This is the only course I have ever played that will not fill up water cups to their paying players. Instead, they direct you to a water fountain that does not work or even have a bottle filling function. They will charge you $1 to fill up your water bottle. Even when it was record breaking heat, they refuse to fill it up. Additionally, we had a tee time on Sunday afternoon where we started 30 minutes late and more than 3 hours into the round we barely made it to hole 10 that already had 3 more groups in front of us waiting. This is the only time we have ever left a course after only 9 of the holes. HORRIBLE!!!!

The place looks great but that’s where it ends — nearly 6 hours to play Saturday. Decent golfers anll anround annd still 3 and 4 groups backed up on holes. Not a marshal in site either! Not that it would have mattered. Unacceptable. You’re putting out groups 7 and 8 minutes apart. 7 is down right greedy and stupid. Just ruining the day. Take some advice from a simple AI search you’ll see 7 mins creates INSANELY SLOW PLAY: ⛳ Standard Ranges • 8 minutes → Aggressive (maximizes revenue, higher risk of slow play backups) • 9 minutes → Common balance for busy muni courses • 10 minutes → Ideal sweet spot (best mix of pace + player experience)

I remember visiting this course a long time ago, and overall it was a good experience. The staff service and the restaurant were both very nice and welcoming. The facilities felt comfortable and well managed. The golf course itself had a slightly busy and somewhat unorganized atmosphere. It’s not an overly difficult course, but my score wasn’t great—especially because the greens were quite challenging. Reading them was tougher than expected. I heard that the original 36 holes were redesigned into 18 holes. One advantage is that it should be cooler and more comfortable during the summer. Thanks to the recent rain, the fairways and overall course conditions were decent and enjoyable. Overall, it’s a pleasant course with friendly service, but be prepared for tricky greens.
