What a fantastic resort. Grounds and accommodations are well maintained! We had so much fun there, the rooms were clean spacious, and close enough to each pool. There were arcade centers with ping pong, Billiards, and some video games. They had fire pits, live musics, small town store fronts, Golf, freebie golf and soccer golf. Pickleball tennis and basketball courts. The location is super close to San Diego for more fun. I highly recommend this resort for everyone and we’ll be coming back soon.

I’m normally a loyal Marriott customer, but my daughter and I met friends for Spring Break and their family was using their timeshare at the property. This was my first ever experience with Hyatt and it was very disappointing. First, my daughter and I arrived at 4:45 pm on Easter Sunday. The lobby was under construction and all check-ins were redirected to the Theatre. The line was almost to the parking lot - we waited in line 90 minutes just to check in. Once we finally reached the front of the line, we were told our room was not ready (even though we were well past the 4pm check in time) and they would text me. At a little after 7pm I get a text the room is ready- 3 full hours after it should have been. My daughter and I were only able to stay for 2 nights, so I requested a late checkout on Tuesday. The employee at check in said they could give me a late checkout of 11am instead of the standard 10am, and if I wanted additional time I’d need to call on the day of departure. We were then sent to another desk to get a parking pass for my vehicle. That staff member started talking about offering a $150 Visa gift card - I for a second thought because of the delay and massive line of unhappy guests they had waiting to check in. But no, it was part of a gimmick - if I wanted to spend 3 hours watching a sales presentation pitching me on signing up for a timeshare. Needless to say, I did not want to waste more of the little time I had with my daughter to watch a sales pitch for a resort that was already making such a poor impression. As instructed, I called to inquire about getting a later checkout. I tried calling 7 separate times before I finally got someone to answer, only for them to tell me they had a strict no late checkout policy that day because the hotel was at 100% capacity. I told the staff member that I was given 11am when I checked in because our room wasn’t available until 7pm on Sunday night - she then checked and a note had been made, but the computer system wasn’t updated to reflect the late checkout. She said they would honor it but they weren’t supposed to give any late checkouts that day. This resort is so understaffed and mismanaged. Our first day at the pool, when the hotel is at 100% capacity, they have one of the largest pools with one person working the activities center. The poolside snack bar wasn’t open, and only opened after they called someone in on their day off - it finally opened at 1pm but had to close at 3:30pm because the staff member that was taking orders then making food and drinks, was out of hours for the week. And they didn’t provide him enough food options, only 3 each of limited lunch items. There was a minimum of 5 people in line from the time they opened, the business they could have done if they opened at 11am as they were supposed to- is massive. Let’s talk about the food - there was a restaurant onsite , but they did not deliver food and there was no room service option. I called the restaurant to order lunch for my daughter and they never answered. I called 3 separate times before I gave up and I ended up placing a Postmates order that was delivered directly to my room- it was much faster! They are leaving money on the table right and left, I was actively trying to spend money with the resort and they either weren’t open or didn’t answer the phone. The hundreds of times that I’ve visited a Marriott property and the couple of times my room wasn’t ready, the staff offered some sort of compensation/reparation for the inconvenience - without me even asking. The fact that I simply asked for a late checkout so my daughter and I could try to make up for not getting to enjoy the resort on our first day, to which they only offered an hour and nothing else, is just poor customer service. Luckily we were able to make the best of it and enjoy the time we had with our friends - but I will not be returning to this resort or the Hyatt brand.

Nice resort community with novice golf course. Beautiful mountains. Decent room units. Resort wi-fi is sub-standard and the resort should warn guests (particularly, anyone who needs to hop on to work meetings or check emails ' the wi-fi signal is so poor - this is virtually impossible and, in today's modern work world, that is unacceptable unless the resort advertises no/minimal internet wifi signal & warns guests prior to booking).

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. It's local, quiet gem nestled in the mountains. There's a lot of activities for kids and a great place just to relax and rest.

Rooms we stayed in smells so aweful, smells like a wet clothes and air-dried. But cant really complain since we bought the 199$ coupon deal for 4 days and 3 nights. What really urge me to give a bad review is their store called The Shoppe (The Shop). Its open 11am to 8 pm so we stayed at the parking lot from 10:15am to wait for the shop top open before we start our 10 hours drive home. ………. Its already 11:18am and still no sign from opening. BAD BAD BAD REVIEW ! Time is precious for people who took ther precious time off for a vacation and this? HEADS UP FOR RESORT OFFICER JAMES FOR BEING VERY HELPFUL !
