High above the Bay, Berkeley CC (formerly Mira Vista) is a Golden Age hillside design with panoramic views and a pedigree that traces to Robert Hunter and Willie K. Watson. A sensitive 2011 restoration by Forrest Richardson & Associates revived Hunter's intent, re emphasizing width, contour, and shot options across the rolling topography. The club's tournament lore includes the 1929 Berkeley Open, won by future Masters champion Horton Smith‚ a reminder that demanding golf has always lived here. In 2017, the club reclaimed its original Berkeley Country Club name, underscoring that history. It's strategic, firm running golf that rewards imagination as much as execution.

This place is amazing. I played here and fell in love. A mix of short and long holes kept me challenged. And after the Ahi Poke with the Bloody Mary left me wanting for more. Can’t recommend it more highly.

I can't say enough great things about this location. Great views from the wedding spot as well as from the inside dinning area. I've provided the entertainment here a few times. The staff is always welcoming and great to work with. I can't wait to come back.

The food here is fantastic! I had my first impossible burger but continue to eat the half lb Angus burger or beef wellington sliders or cob salad. Great views from the dining room!
