The course was fun. Greens were kept, and not bad for being Delano. Greens were challenging, with 2 greens over 350 yards. Staff was really friendly, and made us aware of their enforced collared shirt rule when we booked our tee time over the phone. I would definitely come back. We played on a Sunday evening and payed $20 for a 9 hole round. Excellent pricing!

good god man this golf course was absolutely un maintained to the highest degree. the green felt like golfing on carpet, half the course is dry, and management rushes the younger crowd so i don’t recommend this golf course to any new golfer. no where close to a 4 star rating.

A pretty decent par 3 course with a par 5 hole and some par 4’s. Great for working on short game. Pretty solid on pricing aside from a $12 rider fee. Wish they were more transparent on pricing inside their clubhouse. (Using a bigger sign behind the register would help.) Overall, I would rather pay to play at an actual golf course’s front 9 that allows a rider and is well kept rather than here. (note: it is also winter golf, I’m sure the course is nicer in the spring.)

Pros and cons. Pro most people walk this short 9 hole course so you can play at a slow pace. Cons a bit pricey for a 9 hole course. $20 with a cart. $7 for a large bucket. Only 1 ball washer for the whole course. (On the first hole.) Greens were mowed high and full of weeds. Cheap plastic cups. Doesn't serve alcohol. Pro shot a 46 could've done better if the greens were better.

Nice 9 hole course. Well maintained and friendly staff. The only issue is this course is not pet friendly. We enjoy walking other courses with our well mannered, leashed small dog and most courses in Kern and Tulare County are pet friendly so sadly Delano won’t be on our weekly golf routine. Please reconsider your pet policy and allow well trained, leashed dogs on the course.
