Hands down the nicest courses I've had the honor to play at. The staff here are exceptional, respectful and down to earth. Conditions of the course are fantastic and the truest greens you'll ever play. Weather was perfect and some of the best views you'll get to experience on a course.

The team at Blackhawk Country Club is fantastic. They are always attentive and friendly, making each interaction smooth and enjoyable. Both courses are kept in excellent shape, and having two layouts keeps things fresh and exciting. Beyond the golf, it’s the people; the staff and members alike, who make it such a great place to spend time and build lasting connections and friendships. Blackhawk is the best of the best!

Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Bay Area, Blackhawk Country Club is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment you enter the gates, you feel like you’ve stepped into a private world where elegance, tranquility, and championship-level golf coexist effortlessly. The course itself is immaculate — fairways that look hand-painted, greens that roll true and fast, and landscaping that frames every hole like a postcard. Each round feels thoughtfully designed, balancing challenge and playability in a way that keeps you fully engaged from the first tee to the final putt. It’s the kind of course that rewards precision but never punishes unfairly. What truly elevates Blackhawk, however, is the atmosphere. There’s a quiet sophistication here — refined without being pretentious. The staff is polished, attentive, and genuinely warm, creating an experience that feels both exclusive and welcoming. Service is seamless, whether you’re checking in, dining, or simply enjoying the clubhouse views. And speaking of the clubhouse — it’s stunning. Classic architecture, panoramic views of the surrounding hills, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger long after your round is over. It’s the perfect place to reflect on the day’s best shots (and laugh about the not-so-perfect ones). Blackhawk isn’t just a golf course — it’s an experience. A destination. A reminder of why we fall in love with the game in the first place. Five stars without hesitation. I can’t wait to return.

Very disappointing experience. For the price, the quality is nowhere near what you’d expect. It’s 2–3x more expensive than other gyms and tennis clubs in the area, yet offers the same or worse facilities. Even basic group classes like Pilates and pool classes cost extra, which feels unreasonable given the high membership fees. The women’s locker room is often dirty, with clogged showers, and the toiletries are average at best—definitely not a luxury experience. I originally joined for tennis, but they converted a main tennis court into pickleball, which was frustrating. Staff have not been particularly helpful or welcoming—at times they came across as dismissive when asking about events or general information. Also, the membership policies are very rigid. Even with a medical situation, they wouldn’t pause my membership, and when I canceled at the beginning of the month, I was charged for that month plus another full month. Overall, you pay premium prices without receiving premium quality. I wouldn’t recommend it.
