Within the gated, outdoorsy Auburn Lake Trails community in the Sierra foothills, this nine hole par 29 course is NCGA sanctioned and open year round to residents and their guests. Designed by Ken Anderson and built by veteran shaper Homer Flint, it opened June 10, 1971, and has remained a social hub ever since. Short holes, walkable terrain, and friendly leagues make it perfect for casual play, match days, and junior golf. Expect clean greens, tidy surrounds, and a neighborly pace where you're as likely to talk dogs and trail rides as birdies. It's small scale golf with real community gravity.
