Have always liked this mountain course. Although this time almost all the tee boxes were in terrible shape. Some kind of disease/fungus and lots of divots. Is it that hard for players to fill their divots from the jug on the cart? The course is in reasonable shape and they are actively sprinkling spots around the course. Greens are a putting challenge if you're in the wrong spot; lots of contour and speedy if you're not below the hole. Definitely worth the trip even if all you get are great views.

I played Apple Mountain Golf Course on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The course itself is still in great shape and is as enjoyable as ever, but the overall experience has definitely changed. By the turn, we were over an hour behind pace because there was a group of five in front of us. Pace of play clearly wasn't being managed, and the marshals need to be more proactive about keeping groups moving and enforcing the course rules. Another issue was the noise. You could hear music from other groups three holes away, which took away from the experience. A little music is one thing, but it shouldn't be loud enough to affect multiple holes. Apple Mountain has always been one of my favorite courses because of its great layout and conditions, but the culture on the course feels different than it used to. I hope management takes steps to improve pace of play and course etiquette because the course itself deserves better.

Super fun and beautiful course. My first time playing here and it was great. Staff slwas super helpful and friendly. I had a breakfast burrito before the rounf and it was delicious. The greens were in great shape. Difficult course but fun.

Hidden Gem right off highway 50! Only played the front 9 holes. Gorgeous course with lots of trees. Beautiful elevated Tee boxes. Greens and pin placement were really tough.

Apple Mountain is an amazing golf experience. The staff is courteous and helpful. The course itself has great views. The layout is challenging. The course supplies a "cheat sheet" giving yardage to landing areas and targets on elevated fairways and greens that have a blind shot. The greens were receptive, but the fastest that I have ever played on. The pace of play is dependent on you, the player. My group played in just over 4 1/2 hours. Would definitely play this course again.
