RangeDriving Range

Threaded through towering redwoods, Boulder Creek began as a nine hole Jack Fleming design in 1961 and expanded to a full 18 by 1966. The setting is intimate‚ cool air, filtered light, and holes that feel carved from the forest. Tee balls demand shape and trajectory more than length, and green sites reward precise wedges. It's a peaceful, small town escape just up the San Lorenzo Valley from Santa Cruz. History and scenery carry equal weight here, and both are worth the trip.

Great golf course. It's a hidden gem

Enjoyable course, spread over up-and-down fairways with good greens. Not pricey yet pretty well maintained grounds. Too bad the back 9 was lost to wildfire and economics. Worth the slow drive out to Boulder Creek.

Fun, tight,18 hole golf course, framed by stunning massive redwood trees. Great friendly staff, with a good food selection. Good prices and worth the drive.

Only 9 holes and a little "marshy" in the middle of some fairways, but it is gorgeous with some long holes with elevated Tee boxes. I have never seen it crowded and often I play with nobody ahead or behind me. Its also affordable especially if you catch their twilite deals (starts at 4pm in spring/summer). Great bar with surprisingly delicious food and a large selection of NA beers for those that dont drink alcohol but still want a beer after their round. I highly recommend this course.
