We ate at Rams Hill 19th hole bar. The golf course is breathtaking. We sat outside for lunch and then moved inside for another drink. The service is impeccable and the food and drinks delicious. We met Cesar, Ty and Kevin and they all made our experience so fun! We had the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer and it was amazing! Our party enjoyed Ahi Tacos, Rams Hill Angus Burger, Steak Frites, and Roasted Poblano Caesar Salad with Seared Ahi. The drinks were all great but the Espresso Martini was the best we had ever had. We can’t wait to go back and work our way through the menu!

10/10 experience all around. I had the privilege of teeing off solo at 7am right after Easter. Quiet, serene, challenging (~6,400 yards from blue tees), with bountiful sand traps. A truly wonderful experience. The pictures do not do it justice. If you love this game, this course is a must-play at least once in your lifetime. The clubhouse staff from both the tee shop and restaurant/bar were incredible! A special shout out for Ty and Ceasar - my family and I were locked out of the main resort we stayed at, and they went above and beyond to help us! TLDR; incredible & challenging golf in a phenomenal desert landscape with outstanding staff and amenities!! Highly recommend!!

Wow… what a hidden gem. We spent a few days soaking in the quiet beauty of Borrego Springs and, naturally, had to check out the local golf scene. After a little digging online, one course kept popping up, Rams Hill. The price tag gave us pause (think Hawaii-level greens fees), but curiosity won out… and I’m glad it did. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we’d discovered something special. The course is carved right into the desert landscape, and it doesn’t hold back. With over 200 bunkers scattered throughout, it’s as visually striking as it is demanding. But what really stood out wasn’t just the quantity—it was the quality. Every bunker was in pristine shape, the fairways were beautifully cut, and the greens rolled as true as any we’ve played. This isn’t a casual knock-around course. Between the cost and the challenge, Rams Hill makes you earn every shot. But if you’re the kind of golfer who enjoys a test and appreciates a course that’s meticulously maintained, it absolutely delivers. Bottom line: not cheap, not easy… but 100% worth it!

Ram’s Hill Golf Resort is excellent! The course, accommodations and services are all 5 Star. Their staff was always efficient and friendly. The golf course is challenging and fun to play with beautiful scenery everywhere. Highly recommended for a group or couples getaway.

Top notch customer service! From the moment we drove through the gate to the moment we loaded our clubs back in the car, service was impeccable. This is the friendliest staff we have ever encountered. Yes, it is a trek, but the grounds are gorgeous, the food is excellent, and the views go on for miles. The course was in great shape. We had wind on the last three holes as a storm was blowing in, but we were happy to not have rain. It was our son's birthday and they acknowledged it often, which made for a festive day. We definitely will be back as often as possible. A real gem!
