What happened to the fairways? I played the course May 9, 2026 and the course used to look pretty green now it’s all dried out like they haven’t watered in weeks. This is my home Golf Course and I expected it to be in better shape than this I’m very disappointed that’s why I only gave it three stars.

I’m disappointed with my recent experience at this course. Upon arrival, we were not informed that a tournament was taking place during our scheduled tee time. Had we known ahead of time, we would have chosen a different day to play. Throughout the round, we were repeatedly rushed by staff despite being on pace — in fact, we were averaging about ten minutes ahead and staying right behind the group in front of us. Meanwhile, the group behind us from the tournament was consistently pushing right up on us, which created an uncomfortable and unenjoyable atmosphere for our entire round. If pace of play was truly a concern, it would have made more sense to address the delay with the group ahead rather than penalizing those who were already keeping up. Golf should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience, but this visit was stressful and far from what I expect from a well-managed course. Better communication and consistent course management would have made a major difference.

Played course 26 July 2024. I played this course over 6 years ago and it was in terrible condition, but now the course has done a complete 180. It is good to see the Marines are being taken care of. Tee boxes and fairways are in good condition with the exceptions of some tee boxes not being level. The greens are pretty good as well but there are some rough areas but if you hit it where you should there won't be a problem. As for the bunkers, they need a lot more sand in them to actually execute bunker shots. The course layout is difficult with elevation challenges. If you don't make it to the fairway from the tee box just expect to try and save bogey. Staff was helpful and the food looked great. Highly recommend this course to others and I will be back.

I will for sure come back. Great atmosphere. The head pro was super nice and welcoming. Course is in good shape, the course design makes it fun to play. Pretty views. We play from the whites solid distance. Loved it.

First time here. I was expecting a bad experience from reading past reviews, but the course is in fairly decent shape. Rather rough in some areas but not horrible. I’d say it’s similar to Oceanside Muni. Greens look splotchy but roll fast and mostly true. Pace of play was excellent for a Friday. Friendly staff. Grass range, which is a plus. Beautiful valley surrounded by green hills and plenty of palm trees.
