Five Stars – Fun, Challenging, and Tasty! Chalk Mountain was such a blast! The course was fun and tough—definitely kept me on my toes, but in the best way. Super glad I got the chance to play here. On the turn, we had to try the world-famous hot dog—and yep, it absolutely lived up to the hype. So good! Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming, from the pro shop to the snack bar. Great vibes all around. Already looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful course, best conditions I’ve seen in years. The well equipped driving range, the training center all seem top notch. They even have ground robots mowing here and there. But that’s where the tech ends . I swear these are same carts I used 30 year’s ago. It made me flash back to riding the Utopia go carts at Disneyland when I was a kid. No GPS but they do plan to add them. It is the 21st century, new electric carts have solved the torque problems, noise and fume issues. Other than the starter telling me I was stealing range balls after we had hit a handful of warm up. balls left on the range, apparently we arrived too early and should have found the starter.we were asked to leave the range. I’d given them 5 stars until that happened. Not sure if it’s “A” towns shade at out of towners. Left a sour taste, for such nice place. W. Taylor

I saw the most horrific thing on this course. I honestly am horrified. My husband and I love this course because it's beautiful and fun to golf and local. But I will never ever go back. There was two babies and a mother deer out on the driving range and I went into the pro shop to ask them to send one of their boys out to shew them off the range and close to the range deck. The older gentleman told me no. I told him but people are almost hitting them and young high schoolers hitting balls we're just laughing and trying to aim for them. He said no. I told him that's absolutely inhumane and a lady told me that last week a baby was killed for the same reason. This is sickening to me. We had not hit one of our balls from our bucket and I told him I wanted a refund. He said he didn't know how to do that and if I wanted to stand behind all the other people then maybe he can see if he can. He was rude and absolutely a cold individual. Broke my heart to think people saw a baby deer killed last week on that range and I was trying to get help for a deer with two tiny babies so close to the range that the teens were hitting right at the' and barely making it past them and not one person working would do anything but laugh. I'm honestly sickened by the humans that work at this golf course. We have spent so much money golfing there and to think they are so cruel. These deer were not just on the golf course they were right on the range and close enough for people to barely miss or not miss. I'm just sad and heartbroken by this. And to think a gal said a baby was killed last week in the same manner. Could you image taking your kids to practice hitting balls and then seeing that. It's sickening. It won’t let me post the video here but I did post it on yelp.

I’ve played a lot of courses on the Central Coast, and Chalk Mountain Golf Course continues to stand out as one of the most fun and scenic places to practice and play. The course itself is always in solid shape with beautiful oak-lined fairways, elevation changes, and views that make every round enjoyable. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, which gives the course a relaxed local feel. One of the best upgrades lately is the Toptracer technology installed at each driving range stall. It completely changes the practice experience by giving instant shot tracking, distances, and fun game modes that make range sessions way more engaging whether you’re seriously working on your game or just hitting balls with friends. It’s a huge addition for golfers of all skill levels and honestly makes Chalk Mountain one of the coolest practice facilities in the area. The range itself is already one of the best around, and adding Toptracer was a great move.
