Eagle Vines Golf Club is a solid course overall. It’s well maintained with smooth greens and well-kept fairways. The snack shop has a good variety of options, so you’ll definitely find something to keep you going during your round. The pace of play was excellent—our group kept moving without delays, which made for an enjoyable day. However, at nearly $100 a round, it felt a bit overpriced for what it offers. I’d say it’s worth closer to $50. Also, the driving range is a bit limited, as they only allow irons no drivers which might be a downside for some. All in all, it’s a good course, but just be mindful of the price compared to the overall experience.

Absolutely beautiful golf course, no its not like pga beautiful but very nice none the less. For a public golf course it is one of the nicer ones I've played, the only thing is they need to update their carts.

Second time here and let me first say, staff is/was really nice. Clubhouse, drink cart, maintenance, bar, all of them were very friendly. Course was in great shape, good layout, and some gorgeous views. Guys....the pace of play here is miserable! The first 8 were slow but tolerable but once you get to 10,11,12 it just grinds to a halt. On the par 3 14th a Marshall comes by while we're waiting to tee off (foursome in front is still putting) he says "we've got some calls to the clubhouse the pace is slow so try to keep up." I know it's not the foursome in front of us either because we have been getting to the tee box while they're still waiting on the group in front. We finish 14 and 15 has 3 groups just stopped dead waiting at the tee box. We're 5.5 hours in at this point. Why doesn't the Marshall re-position people when it's this bad?? Group behind us left, we followed suit. Just sucks to spend nearly 6 hours on the course and only play 14 holes. A real shame because I would love to come here more often. I hope they figure it out.

This course was a little disappointing as some parts are quite over watered and have poor drainage issues, while others dry and very barren. Tee boxes definitely do need to be shaved otherwise may as well remove the tips for play. Greens do get a bit more ballmarks as it is a public course. The staff are friendly and very nice, however the owner should definitely reinvest some money into fixing some of the issues. Also, I had the unfortunate event of playing behind a foursome who had no golf etiquette whatsoever and they are throwing tantrums, causing wait times to be nearly 20-30 minutes for a par three which they should’ve just let a group of two or a single play through. Overall having to come from Sacramento based off of the reviews and photos initially. I likely would not return unless there was an overhaul on the conditions. Plus side, the traps do have sand in them.

The service was excellent, and the course management was well-organized. The only downside was the strong wind and older golf cart. However, we thoroughly enjoy playing at this course and love the experience.
