Balboa is a long and challenging course in Hot Springs Village, with a par of 72 and yardage exceeding 6,800 yards. Fairways are broad but framed by trees, creating a balance of forgiveness and demand. Greens are large and often multi-tiered, requiring precise approaches. Its length and design make it one of the tougher courses in the HSV system. Balboa is consistently well-maintained and a regular venue for events.

I was just visiting for future reference. The staff was great and let me know about the HSV app for booking tee times.

Front nine is in terrible shape. Cart paths need redone. Where soda is placed, it is not being watered so it is dying and there is a lot of sod. Choose another course in the village as all the others are great!
